"Good morning everyone," The entire classroom falls silence when Slughorn finally greets us with a smile. "Hopefully everyone's morning is off to a good start."

Potions was a bore these days -- ever since Slughorn's little incident during our break, I have lost all interest in his class -- I am very lucky that my father was drunk after the party
because only Merlin knows what he would've said about me letting a mudblood in his house.

"Now let's began shall we?"

My eyes lingered around my table while he waddled up to the front of the classroom. The seat aside Blaise was more empty these days
than it was used but today it was being used. Before today, I truthfully couldn't even recall the last time that I'd seen Draco Malfoy.

He was like a ghost, always hiding in the Hogwarts walls and every time he came out making an appearance, he always looks worse than he did before. The friend in me wanted to ask Draco what was wrong, even though I knew the obvious answer, but I know that I shouldn't force him to come and talk to me.

"When we met here for the first time last semester Miss Granger explained to you what Amortentia was, can anyone besides her recall exactly what it is?"

How damn cliche; Valentines days was approaching, in fact it was in about 12 days. And Slughorn ironically decides to have us
studying on Amortentia -- the strongest love potion in the world -- very unbelievable.

"How about you Moons?" Slughorn asks, making everyone inside of the dungeons eyes fall on me, well everyone's except one.

I spoke lazily, "Anmortentia. It's the most powerful love potion in the world, it leaves the victim both vulnerable and manipulated."

"But it's not real love, It'll never be." I definitely never understood the point of Anmortentia, I don't think that it works, therefore it's pointless. Theo snorts at my next words, "Just makes the victim get a hard on--"

"Well okay! What a wonderful explanation, thank you very much Moons." Slughorn cuts me off loudly before I could finish speaking.

I leaned forward on my elbows, tuning out professor Slughorn as he went further into todays lesson. I instead allowed my eyes too find the back of a head, the same one that didn't even bother turning around when I spoke out what the potion was.

Ron has not looked over at me since our argument in the courtyard. From the way that he spoke to me, I doubt that he's going to talk to me anytime soon. Me saying that I'm unsure whether I regretted what we did angered him, obviously enough for to ignore me more.

I'm trying to tell myself that I don't care and that I didn't care weather he talked to me ever again the in the next year that we will be here. But I wasn't very good at lying to myself and I really didn't want it to be that way.

"Being that it's a love potion. It will smell completely different to all of you." Yeah it will, Unless everyone in the classroom likes the same person. "It will smell like the person who your attracted to the most."

I shifted my gaze to the pink potion that Slughorn stood proudly beside. I tried making the potion one time when I was thirteen, in attempt to get Draco to tell me why Harry and Rom was leaving the Slytherin dungeons. But after a bit it got too complicated and I stopped,

"Everyone get with a partner, get out your books and began brewing." He announced, chairs screeching against the floor following behind his words.

Blaise and Draco glanced at each other, remaining eye contact for a while before Draco turns to face me. Theodore grabs onto my arm as soon as the blonde opens his mouth, indicating that me working with anyone else besides him was not up for debate.
