I throw my trunk on the ground of the bedroom, causing an heavy creaking noise to fill the walls of the room. Tears flowed down my cheeks at a rapid pace, they've been falling like this the entire ride here.
Disgust twisted inside of my body while I examined my surroundings - There was tons of unpacked boxes inside this room and I could
tell that it was a cupboard from how it smelled. There was unpacked boxes and the room looks like it was decorated by a oaf,
This room looked nothing like my real bedroom at my father's home or Hogwarts. This wasn't no where near my taste but it probably wasn't made to be my taste; Freya most likely decorated it to her liking.
Juno trailed inside of the room, sniffing everything around the bedroom with a tiny mewl of disapproval escaping his mouth. The overbearing smell of cinnamon fills my nostrils the more I stand still.
My hands immediately fly to the nutone intercom to shut off the depressing opera music that was playing throughout the house. I've never understood why Stephanie felt the need to blast that in the house.
"Do not get comfortable..." I whispered, sucking up my tears. "We're not going to be here for that long, Juno."
I'm going too escape this tragic house no matter how long it took - I just needed to create a plan on how and where I was going. When I leave If I were to go to Theodore's or Blaise's place Stephanie would expect that and come find me-she'll butter them up in making me return back to her home.
An irritated huff left my lips as I plopped myself down onto the bed, huffing loudly as I discovered that it's extremely uncomfortable. Everything in me wanted to be at home right now with my father,
Yes he's not the most affectionate person, sometimes he could even be a bit selfish but I have never ever felt unwanted with my father. Plus anything is better than being here.
Suddenly, there's a gentle yet commanding knock at the door of the bedroom. Apart of me is already aware about who's knocking without having to open up the door - it was Stephanie.
I couldn't say go away, so I decided that I'll just act as if I'm sleeping right now.
It was about another minute before she knocked again, this time a little more harsh.
Although I become annoyed I dont budge, I turned onto my other side and shut my eyes.
Yes I'm aware that I couldn't just hide away and this entire time that I'm be stuck here, but I will do it as long as I can.
"Rebekah I know that your not sleeping," Stephanie barged into the bedroom, small footsteps could be heard behind her.
The warming smell of sweets was the only reason that I partially lifted my head up from the uncomfortable pillow. My mouth waters at the sight of an house elf carrying in an plate of
cookies and chocolate tarts.
"Eat something."
"Do I look like I eat that stuff?" I harshly snapped and placed my face back into the pillow and it's a scoff. "Plus, you can't even cook a piece of toast what I do look like eating your baked good--"
"That is why the house elf made them..." I could hear that Stephanie took offense to my comment in her voice. But I wasn't lying, she couldn't cook anything.
I shrug, "I don't eat that stuff."
"Well dear, underneath my roof you do not pick and choose what you eat." I hissed out loudly when I feel her hand in the back of my head, lifting me up. "You either eat or starve."
"Seems like a better option."
"Whatever!" Stephanie growled, letting my head go and turning on her feet, walking off. The little house elf shifted forward, placing the plate of treats onto the ottoman in front of me
before quickly scurrying out of the room.
