The soft smell of spring air entrapped itself inside of my nostrils as I made my way out of
Arithmancy class. Lately, I've had an strange liking for the warmness that May has brought,
and spring seemed to be overthrowing the soft
spot that I once had for Winter.

I'd realized that my body liked warm better than cold now -- explaining why I felt like the dungeons are a bit uncomfortable to be in now. And the little time that I did spend inside of the common rooms I prefer sitting by the fire.

Tomorrow was the sixteenth of May, which marked two months since I ended things with Ron in the corridor. We hadn't held any sort of
conversation since then, not even an argument.
Which disappointment me in a sense,

I think I would've rather us go back to bickering than not talk at all. Us not talking made me felt disregarded, like he didn't even take the time out of his day to think about me.
When we bickered I knew that I bothered him.

After two months I thought that I would not care about the situation anymore -- That Ron really was a form of entertainment for me at the moment and I didn't really care about him. But Merlin was I wrong, truthfully, it felt like I was a little kid that lost their favorite item.

The only difference was that my father could not just go to the store and purchase me a toy
that's similar or better. The school year was coming to an end soon, and I was celebrating. Being away from Hogwarts and not knowing that Ron was a walk away would perhaps make this so much more easier for me.

Furthering my way down the courtyard, I couldn't help to smile when I see a grinning brunette in walking my way. For the past two
months I have spent majority of my time with Theodore, keeping myself distracted.

Since our argument, me and Jennifer's friendship has yet to rekindle. The two of us hang out with each other when they boys are together and sometimes we'll give each other little side remarks when they do stupid stuff.
But our bond most definitely was not the same as it was before we went on winter break.

And I felt guilty over that, knowing that everything could've been avoided if I wasn't stupid and didn't develop feelings for Ron. The two of us would've still been good friends,

"So.. how did class go?" Theodore wonders, throwing his arm around my shoulders and pulling me close to him. Not to far behind him was irritated Zack, who I hadn't noticed at first.

Like Theodore, I've spent a large amount of time with Zack as well in the past two months. The only difference is that my cousin keeps me around to basically do everything for him. And I think he also felt an little bad for me when he seen me eating alone sniffling the day after the incident with Ron occurred.

"Horrible." I truthfully said, remembering everything that just took place. "Per usual, Granger spent the entire hour taking about nonsense and comparing it to muggle crap."

"Better than sitting next to Weasley during Snape's class. Even I know that the stuff he's putting on his paper is wrong. Never thought
that I'd meet someone stupider than me," For an moment, my heart dropped at the sound of Ron's name leaving Theodore's lip.

But I let a small laugh slip after realizing the joke that he'd made -- After practically begging him and offering to do his transfiguration work
for the rest of the school year, Theodore finally allowed us too stop taking turns sitting by Ron.

"Speaking of Snape's class," Zack butts in, I rolled my eyes and covered my eyes, already knowing he is about to ask me about helping (doing his) work. "I've failed another one of his test and he says he's gonna call my mom,"

Zack continued with a smile, "He told me to use my resources. And by that I assume that
Snape means my brilliant cousin."

"Don't try to sweeten me up, Zachariah. It's really not making me want to do your work." At least with Theodore and Blaise, they'd do a few questions by themselves before taking up my offer for me to take over. Zack just wanted me to do the entire paper without helping.
