The last week of the semester carried out quickly and I was extremely thankful for that.
Now I could go home to my father and spend time with my three friends without having too be stressed out about our school work.

Other than the few glances we shared in the great hall or during potions class, I hadn't had much encounters with Ron Weasley. Ever since that night in the courtyard I've avoided looking at him when he's with Lavender, in attempt too sustain my jealousy from showing.

Apart of me did feel bad leaving him alone to guard the left wing of the school. But after that extra two hours of sleep I'd forget about it and move on with my day -- I am actually surprised that Mcgonagal hadn't gave me detention for it.

Currently I was getting dressed for professor Slughorn's Christmas party. I stood front of the
tall mirror examining myself with slight mixed emotions, the mini white off the shoulder cami dress did not look as good as it did on the store
manikin when I got it over the summer.

"What do you think, Juno..?" I questioned, Juno purrs as I look over my shoulder at him. He was licking his paws, which means that he's paying no attention to what I'm asking him.

In this moment I was most definitely reconsidering going to this party, again. Everything that I tried on didn't seem right, and I didn't want to look like a fool.

An sudden grumble from my bed has me looking in that direction. "I will never ever understand how women as pretty as you are
insecure, Moons." Jennifer rolled her eyes as she looked up at the paper about Viktor Krum in her hands, black heels covered feet dangling from the end did the bed.

Quite easy for Jennifer to say, she looked absolutely amazing -- the wine dress that she wore complimented her skin nicely and though it was short, it hadn't been so overly revealing.
Blaise asked her to the party, and even if they wouldn't admit it, I think this is the first major step in their future relationship.

"This dress makes me look disgusting." I whined with an growing frown on my mouth.
My red painted fingers nails begin to carefully pick at the fabric that I wore.

"Moons, sweetie." I turned back to face the mirror, my lip now wobbling. "I'm sure that Guys here would shag you while you wore an trash bag. Get a gri--"

"I have a perfectly well grip, Effie!"

She humorlessly scoffed, shaking her head before returning to fawn over Viktor Krum. Loud knocking on the door has me searching for the time, the little clock on my nightstand caught my eyes and I frown at the time.

From the repeated knocks I knew that it's Blaise and I'm annoyed because now I don't have time to change dresses. Jennifer rushed over to my side with a worried look, carefully
examining herself and fixing her hair.

Jennifer's such an hypocrite. Before I have time to scowl her about that, the door to my bedroom flys open. Although I have nothing to cover my hands fly to my chest as Blaise strolls inside and his eyes dart over to Jennifer.

"What did I tell you?"

"I tried Moons. You were taking too long." Blaise argued and he throw up his hands in defensively. Shaking my head I grabbed onto my purse and my heels clicked loudly.

I grumbled, "One day. One of these days, Blaise, I'm going to be shagging and you're
going to wish that you had listened too me."
