The sun dipped below the horizon, casting long shadows across the city as Jimin and Jungkook sat in the small diner across town, the air thick with the smell of greasy food and coffee.

Jimin absently stirred his cold cup of water, his mind still racing from the chaos of the day.

"You need to eat," Jungkook said, pushing a plate of fries closer to him.

"You can't go on empty. We have a lot to figure out."

Jimin glanced at the fries, his stomach twisting at the thought of food.

"I'm not hungry. Not after everything... not after seeing her."

Jungkook's gaze softened, understanding the weight of Jimin's turmoil.

"I get that, but we can't ignore what's happening around us. We need a plan, and you need your strength."

Taking a deep breath, Jimin forced himself to take a fry.

He chewed mechanically, his mind still trapped in the suffocating memories of his father's house.

Every crunch reminded him of the pain he had witnessed, and the girl's vacant stare loomed large in his mind.

"Do you think she knew?" Jimin asked, his voice barely above a whisper.

"Did she see it coming? Did she suffer?"

Jungkook reached across the table, his hand resting on Jimin's.

"We can't know that. But we can honor her by making sure this doesn't happen to anyone else. We need to gather evidence and find out what your father is involved in."

Jimin looked up, his eyes meeting Jungkook's.

"What if he finds out we're looking for answers? What if he tries to stop us?"

"He might try," Jungkook said, his voice steady.

"But we have to be smarter. We can't let fear control us. We'll be careful and take our time. We need to follow the leads and figure out who else is involved in this mess."

Jimin nodded, feeling a flicker of determination spark within him.

"Okay, let's go through everything we have."

After finishing their meals, they found a quiet spot in the diner to spread out Jimin's photos and notes.

They went through the sticky note with the initials, matching them to anything they could find online.

With every clue, they began to form a bigger picture of the network of deceit and danger that surrounded them.

"What if we tried to reach out to the people connected to the address?" Jungkook suggested, pointing at a name they had uncovered.

"They might have seen something or know more about your father's dealings."

"I don't know," Jimin replied, uncertainty creeping back in.

"What if they're in on it? What if they're dangerous?"

"We have to take that risk," Jungkook insisted, his eyes blazing with determination.

"If we don't, we'll never get answers. We have to dig deeper."

They spent the next few hours researching, making calls, and piecing together connections.

With each discovery, Jimin felt a sense of purpose begin to blossom.

The anger he felt was transforming into action, a drive to uncover the truth and seek justice.
