You walk up to the apartments gloomily. You hadn't come back here in years for a good reason. Hadn't stepped through the door or wandered up the stairs. You let out a sigh and push through the door looking at the lobby. The place was even more decrepit than when you were here last. Tenko was wandering around the reception desk eyeing it down. His agitated eyes land on you as you step through the rotating door.

It's odd, he didn't resemble Tenko at all. Whoever was standing over there wasn't him. Yet you still felt the tug of responsibility for him in your heart. You needed to understand him so you could figure out what to do. Dabi's the only one who gets the luxury of your heart over your head. This scrawny blue-haired kid with a bad attitude and a bad case of itch wasn't getting Maiko. He was going to get the cold calculated cutthroat villain.

You approach him cautiously as he keeps his eyes locked with yours. You shove your hands in your pockets keeping your thoughts buried. You speak sarcastically as he moves around you heading to the couches.

"Does it meet your standards?"

"It's fine."

"T-Shigaraki?"

He sits down waiting for you to come closer. You narrow your eyes as you sit on the couch the farthest from him.

"If you plan on getting in my way Maiko I'll turn you to dust."

You scoff at him leaning back on the couch.

"If you know any better you wouldn't threaten me so casually. I don't know where the hell you've been all these years. Or why you never came and found me since it seems like you knew I was alive. But it's clear you didn't grow up the way I did. So let me queue you in on something."

You lean forward, clasping your fingers over each other, elbows on your knees, and give Tenko a sly smile.

"I run the underground, carry heavy respect on the streets, and if you're not careful I will become your biggest problem. You aren't street-smart at all, you think throwing your weight around is going to make people respect you. You need to shut up, listen, and watch before you make a move, before you say a word. Understand the people you are faced with before you do or say anything."

He glares at you as he starts to itch his neck again.
You eye him down watching his every move. His soft-toned voice breaks the silence, but it only increases the tension.

"Don't assume you're unbeatable, you aren't even the final boss."

"I'm not stupid enough to take even a mild threat lightly."

"As agreed, what do you want to know?"

"Why didn't find me?"

"I don't care about you. You aren't a good piece to have."

You grit your teeth as you growl at Tenko.

"Can't stand wild cards can you? Afraid of what happens if those around you aren't being controlled like you are?"

Tenko jumps over the center table in a flash. His hand is outstretched as he reaches for you. You jump to the side and grab his wrist slamming him to the floor. You keep your knee on his head and his arm pinned behind his back. You lean in snickering in his face.

"Definitely not street smart."

"Get off me."

"You attack me again and you won't get off as easily."

You get off of Tenko and jump away quickly. You pull out your knife and ready yourself in case he tries anything. Luckily he seems to have a close combat quirk, so you just have to stay away. You smirk at him as he glares holes into you.

"I won't make a move unless you force my hand Tenko."

As Tenko gets back up the blond girl with space buns comes bouncing into your view. She gives you a crazy smile as she waves erratically at you. The other member of the Leauge was walking up behind her. There were 7 of them now which was a big problem if they decided to attack.

The blond girl chirps up looking like a high schooler cracked out on caffeine.

"Hello again, are you going to join us?"

You ease up a bit standing straight up. You sheath your knife and cross your arms.

"What's your name kid?"

"I'm Himiko Toga, it's nice to formally meet you."

"Aiko."

"Hehe, I'm happy I'm not the only girl in the Leauge anymore."

You scoff and wave your hand at her.

"I'm not joining your stupid club."

The masked guy with the top hat speaks up.

"I'm Mr. Compress, it's also nice to meet you. But I must ask; why help us if you don't plan on joining?"

"Because it is better to make allies than enemies."

The guy Dabi called Twice speaks up sounding excited and suspicious at the same time.

"Allies oh that sounds fun-no it doesn't you're a spy."

You snort trying to hold back a laugh as the smoke guy cuts Twice off.

"We are appreciative of your help, Aiko."

"And you are?"

"Kurogiri, I look after Shigaraki."

"So you're his butler?"

You shake your head leaning against the banister of the stairs. The lizard guy and the large girl just stare you down cautiously.

"Who are you two?"

"Spinner."

"Mag, or big sis."

You look at Tenko curiously as his stance relaxes. He also seems to pull in decent people, they don't seem all that bad. Maybe you should get to know them and see if you can gain their trust. It would make things easier in the future.

"This is such a pain. Alright listen up Shigaraki, I'll give you a little piece of information. However, I want in on this job."

"Thought you wouldn't work for me."

"Let me make myself perfectly clear. I will never work for you, however, I am willing to work with you on this."

"Why?"

"Because of him."

You point at Kuogiri smirking.

"He is the perfect thief's tool, and I have a job that's perfect for him. So I'll offer up this job in exchange for Kurogiri's help."

Tenko narrows his eyes at you as he listens.

"Look your goals aline with Stain's right?"

Tenko just stands there quietly listening to you.

"Then you should listen to my proposal."
