33: Residence

          Plain and simple you told Tenko your plan to attack the Hero Acency in Hous City. They carry all the information from missions. All the information they hide from the public to cover up their mistakes. Tenko was very interested in you proposal and agreed.

"I'm glad we could come to an agreement."

"Whatever, just don't get in my way."

"Don't make me."

Tenko's eye twitches irritatedly as you refuse to back down. You smirk and lean back on the couch staring up through the skylight. You let out a sigh as you hear Toga coming up to you.

"I'm excited to work with you, Aiko. So what's your quirk?"

"You'll find out soon enough."

"Awe come on don't be so cold."

"That's kinda her thing, I wouldn't waste your time."

You snicker quietly as you recognize that deep raspy voice. You ignore him as he walks past you. Still intimated by him from the night before.

"She's mean Dabi; why did you bring her around?"

"She's useful for now."

"I don't like her-she's cool."

Twice speaks up as he walks over to you. Your eyes wander over to the masked man slowly.

"I'm sure we can find a way to get along."

Compress speaks up pulling your attention away from Twice and Toga.

"As long as she's capable of helping us out and doesn't hold us back."

"You think I'd bring a useless piece of trash in?"

"Hehe, fair enough Dabi usually just kills the recruits he considers."

You pick your head up snapping at Dabi.

"Shut it."

"Oh I like her Shigaraki, we should keep her. She isn't afraid of you or Dabi."

Mag speaks up excitedly as she looks at Tenko.

"No."

Tenko and you say in unison causing Compress to chuckle lightly. You sigh and stretch out on the couch. You guys have to stay put until night so you figured you'd take a nap.
          You feel the couch indent beside you causing you to stiffen. You peek out of your eye and notice Dabi sitting beside you. You sit up quickly scooting away from him.

"Don't sleep here."

You huff at him as you look away ignoring his comment. Mr. Compress cocks his head curiously before speaking.

"Do you know each other?"

Your eyes wander over to Dabi, you weren't going to touch this. Dabi speaks up as he lays his head back.

"Yeah."

"Wow, Dabi I didn't know you knew such a cute girl."

You blush heavily looking away from both of them. You'd never been complimented by someone else before. Dabi smirks and eyes Mr. Compress down like a predator.

"She's mine."

You feel the embarrassment bubble up in your chest. Toga speaks up excitedly.

"Oh my gosh, she's your girlfriend?"

You whip your head at Toga ready to say something but close your mouth quickly. You furrow your brow blinking furiously, noticing  everyone was looking at you curiously. Your cheeks catch fire as you look at the floor.

"Does that really matter right now? I think we have other things to be worrying about."

You glare as they just keep staring.

"That means stop fucking staring."

You hear Dabi chuckle softly as everyone looks away acting as if nothing happened. You groan and lean your head back.

"I hate you."

"Oh really?"

"You better shut the hell up."

"Gonna make me?"

You grit your teeth, horrified that he would say something really embarrassing. Knowing him he would, he loves public humiliation more than you like hot showers. He snickers as he speaks softly so no one else can hear.

"Behave little mouse."

For the first time in your life, you actually agreed with him. You really should keep your mouth shut and avoid him.
          Toga turns her head toward Tenko, a gleam in her eye.

"Hey Shigaraki, are we staying here?"

"For now."

She gets up excitedly and claps her hands aggressively. Her energy alone gives you a migraine.

"Oh, can Kuogiri help me decorate my room?"

"I don't care, just be ready to go when it's time."

"Yayyyyy."

She bounces up the stairs poking her head in all the rooms.

           Well, you ended up passing out on the couch anyway. You'd been up for at least two days at this point. Dabi must have known how exhausted you were because he didn't wake you up. Everyone had dispersed to pick out rooms and have Kougiri help them get things. Dabi of course claimed the room he nearly died in. However, he didn't seem interested in it at all. Maybe he was just keeping it closed off to the others.

          Your phone goes off, startling you awake. You groan out and look at the caller I.D. It was Catch texting, saying they had a job that they needed your help with. You let out a sigh and text back telling him you were already on one that was important.
          You drop your phone on your chest, taking a deep breath. Dabi's eyes slowly move over to you as he notices your anxiety rising. He smirks trying to decide if he was going to tease you or not. Even though you absolutely hated it, it always managed to distract you enough to calm back down. Not that you ever thought clearly enough to notice it.

         You push yourself up looking at your phone screen dully. Dabi leans over taking the phone away from you and putting his thumb under your chin.

"Attention on me."

You look into his beautiful blue eyes feeling the anxiety only rise.

"I'm fine."

He smirks and leans into your face teasing to kiss you.

"Is that what I said?"

You huff out pushing away from him, feeling flustered.

"Not here Dabi."

"Why? They know who you belong to."

"Stop."

He gives you a devious look and leans in slightly causing your breath to stop.

"You're adorable when you're flustered, and now that you're around them I can tease you even more."

Twice and Compress come down the stairs causing you to mildly freak out. You try to shove Dabi away but he doesn't move. You huff out and roll off the couch landing on the cracked decaying tile. Dabi snickers as he leans back on the couch pleased with himself. You narrow your eyes at him as you stand up.

"Did we interrupt something?"

"No."

You snap as you head up the stairs furiously. Dabi still chuckling on the couch.
