Chapter 5: Don't worry

Its already been a few weeks and school was already annoying Liam and it wasn't just because of the classes or coach on his back about being team captain. It was about something else. Something that just didn't sit right with him. Liam had been doing well with keeping himself calm and collected around Theo, of course he still had his moments but it wasnt as bad as before yet for some reason what was going on recently just made him feel a little overwhelmed.

An new student had joined the second week of classes, An boy named Dax, he was as small as Liam but instead of blue eyes he had these sun hazel ones and his hair was short, fluffy and the color was an pure beautiful darken sky... Black. Liam knew his features like the back of his hand but only for the reason he was hanging with Theo a little way too much and the fact that he was doing strange things. Yes Liam was stalking this kid just like stiles stalked Theo at first and For the past 3 days Dax had been up Theos ass and it was driving Liam crazy. Corey and Mason was tired of his complaining and told him to stop being so suspicious of the new kid and that he was actually pretty fun to be around.

Sucking in his breath and deciding he would give Dax a chance, Liam opened the school doors and walked towards his locker, Theo would've gave him a ride but instead he bailed on him early this morning to take care of some business, whatever that meant. As Liam was walking, he came to stop, no longer putting his things in his locker. His gaze drifting over to Theo who was leaning against the lockers next to Dax's. He was smiling and in a way Liam had never seen before. He bit his lip, knowing that it shouldn't bother him, he needed to give this guy a chance even if he was suspicious, he needed to do this to prove everyone that he wasn't jealous over stupid Theo but once Dax put his hand on Theos biceps and smiled back, giggling so loud at whatever they was talking about, thats what set him off. He slammed his locker door, giving an small growl as he walked past them and as he did, he caught an glance of Dax giving him an weird smirk.

Liam was now hiding in the schools locker room, alot had happened in this room and it was an big part of everything, at least thats what it seemed like. He pressed his hands against the lockers, panting while mumbling the words "The sun.. The moon.. The truth.." multiple times to calm down at least he was almost there until The locker room door came swinging open and closed as it was Dax who had entered. He slowly moved closer to Liam and crossed his arms. "You think i'm dumb like you Dunbar? I know you been stalking me like a creep and i honestly think you should mind your own business, its clear you don't like me and its pretty obvious on why too. I'm just here.. to make new friends, live my second life" Liam growled once again, he knew this guy was bad news and he just had to prove it and it wasn't because he was so damn close to Theo.

"I'm not sure what you're talking about, i don't like you because i don't trust you. You show up out of no where, acting strange, clearly you're hiding something as well and i'll figure it out." Liam rolled his eyes as he could smell an familiar scent from Dax now that he was standing so close to him. "Is that so..? Seems like you already got me all figured out Dunbar." Dax laughed as he turned around, exiting the locker room but before he did so, he turned around. "Again, mind your own damn business or you will regret it." Dax flashed his eyes, an quick glow of blue appeared to Liam before leaving the room completely.

This was one of his many clues on how awful this guy was, It was also clear that Dax was an werewolf like him but it had meant that Dax probably had killed an innocent to claim those blue eyes of his. This was makin Liam more mad than before, he took a deep breath, trying to calm himself even though it was so hard, before exiting the locker room, he found the hallways being empty and classes had already started. It didnt bother him as today he was skipping and doing something more important because he knew someone else who wasn't at school today and that was the person he had on speed dial right now.

"..Liam? Why are you calling me right now? Aren't you in school?" an tired Nolan answered the phone, sounded like he was sleeping but he wasnt sure. "Sorry dude.. i decided to skip today as i had an really important favor to ask you, something that couldn't wait" He bit his lip as in the distance an saw Theo. Why was Theo not in class either? Nolan shuffled around and sighed "Alright, Come on over. I'm pretty sure i have an small idea on what youre wanting, i do owe you." He laughed as Liam sighed in relief "Thanks Nol, im heading to your house now" Liam hung the phone up as Theo was finally standing in front of him but something seemed to be off and that made Liam nervous.

"Anything you want to tell me?" Theo said somewhat calmly as his eyes full of flame stared right into Liams lost ones. "What are you talking about? is this about me not being in class because something came up and i have-" Theo snapped, interrupting Liam. "NO! i tried to give you a chance to talk to me and youre gonna play dumb instead? Really Liam? Dax told me he saw your eyes glow in the locker room and that it looked like you was about to rip his head off. He also told me you been following him around and he was getting scared of you So, i had to cover your ass with excuses because i dont know whats happening.. Whats going on Liam because if you cant open up to me about it than its going to cause problems" Theo was practically yelling now, It felt like he was taking Dax's side before even knowing what was going on So as Liam just stood there, a little hurt and pissed. Maybe too pissed off because Liam balled his fist up, blood dripping as he glared back into Theos eyes. "I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING! He flashes his eyes at me and not to mention they was blue! He's trouble Theo and i know it. You just refuse to see it or even hear me out because apparently you and him are sooo fucking close that you can't even trust me with what i been trying to tell you, just like now you come at me on something he said when you dont even know both stories!" Liam was so mad at Theo, how could he take sides with Dax when he barely even knew the guy and what Theo said next was what made Liam lose it.

"Liam i don't know what your problem is or why you hate Dax so much, hes an really good guy and i didnt know what fully happened so i came here to let you explain but all you can do is act like this and i dont fucking understand why.. i know how you are with your IED and how out of control you can get So i tried making this right but its pretty clear that you don't even wanna try and be open with me anymore.
I thought we put this behind us back when you was ignoring me if you cant tell me the damn truth anymore then stop having me worry so damn much about you! this is getting too stressful! " Liam just stood there while Theo instantly felt guilty with the words leaving his mouth as he saw tears run down Liams cheek. It took Liam a minute to answer while on the edge of having an full breakdown" i have been honest about the whole situation, i might've left a few details because i didnt have all my proof yet.. " Liam bit his lip, trying his hard to not break, he couldn't do this. " Well.. if that is how you feel then don't worry. Our friendship can just end here and you won't have to worry about how explosive i can be, how much of a liar i am or how annoying and protective i am over you and everyone. You don't have to worry about me at all." Liam ran an hand through his hair as tears still dripped "haha...I-" Liam stopped himself as he didn't want to keep arguing so he just left Theo standing there, he just couldn't do it, not right now and so he started Heading to his destination while in full tears."LIAM! WAIT! Explain to me! Come back, I didnt mean to-" Theo called out to him as he knew he messed up. Again.

Liam was putting himself together as his heart ached, thats all it seemed to do anymore and it was just annoying him. He sighed as his phone wouldn't shut up too. All the missed calls from Theo and the unread messages from him, Corey and mason. He was more determined to do what he was gonna ask Nolan now because now He had a new goal stuck in his head and that was to prove he was right and that Dax is an bad person.

I wanted to put more into this story so i made up an new character. aka Dax! i hope you guys will forgive me <3
