Chapter 7: Betrayal

It took hours of searching on stiles computer as they made their way back to beacon hills. They finally found some interesting things about this Dax Brooks guy and he definitely wasn't up to anything good. Stiles did get a little bummed out when he found out that Liam didn't drive and the fact Derek had been keeping his jeep safe, though that kinda made him more surprised than bummed out. "So apparently his parents died by an animal attack. the report here says that it could've been a bear attack since they lived so close to the wild" Stiles looked over at Liam as he raised his eye brow "Bear attack? That sounds like BS to me" Stiles closed his laptop as they was pulling up to their destination "I'm sure it wasn't a bear which means there is something there that he isn't telling"

"So wheres your dad?" Stiles plopped down on the couch with an groan. "He's visting my grams, I think shes dying so he went up to stay with her for a few months. I'm also surprised Theo isnt here, i guess hes still mad at me." Liam was now curious as the house was empty besides Him and Stiles. "Oh i forgot to tell you he said-" Liams phone interrupted Stiles as he apologized "Let me take this real quick" The caller ID was Maila, That was weird. "Hello? Maila?" Liam asked in a confused tone "Liam! You coming to the party tonight or not? I got stuck babysitting the puppy pack tonight and realized you was the only one missing" Liam raised his brow, an party? he didn't remember there being a party tonight. "Uh.. Party? Where at?" Liam could hear Maila asking the group whos party it was and if she could get the address. "Its at Dax's house, Everyone is here including Theo, thats why i was calling because you know.. I can sense something is up and well, if you ever wanna talk about it, i'll listen." Liam smiled as he looked over at stiles. "Yeah, i'll bring a friend or two. Text me the address and Mal, Thank you" Liam hung up and waited for the text which he received instantly. Liams stomach was aching, like it was being tipped upside down. It wasn't just because the party was being hosted by Dax it was also because of Theo.

"Stiles get up, we're going to pick up your jeep and a plus one" Liam dragged stiles out the door as he groaned "I dont wanna, where are we even going?" Stiles was now walking with Liam as he pouted. It sucked that he didn't drive but than again it was probably an good thing, Liam would probably hit people with road rage. "Well.. We are going to go pick up your jeep.. and Derek then we are going to Dax's party, Maila is there babysitting everyone haha"
Stiles was now excited, he missed his jeep with a passion and he was going to be reunited with it. "Must be my lucky day, i remember the parties Scott and i use to go to, there was actually one set up in Dereks old loft at one point" Liam listened to stiles talk about those parties as they made their way to Dereks home.

Liam knocked on the door as stiles stood beside him. He was actually very nervous, even though him and Derek kept in touch it still had been a while since they've seen each other. "Liam." Derek looked at both boys. "Stiles. Wait Stiles? What are you doing here? More importantly for what?" Derek gave his usual look while crossing his arms. "Derek, you wanna come to a party with us? We'll explain on the way there. in the jeep" Liam nervously asked. Even though he liked Derek alot he still gave off that powerful vibe that scared Liam just a tad. Derek sighed as he thought about it, his eyes moved over to stiles who was giving him a puppy look and thats what made him cave in for some reason. "Yeah. Alright, Get in the jeep, i'll meet you there in a minute."

Soon Stiles was driving his jeep, Derek was up front and Little Liam was in the back. The drive wasn't long but it did give them enough time to tell Derek what was going on and that this Dax person might be the guy Derek was also searching for. "Basically the guy you're lookin for is the guy i think has some deep secrets" Liam ended the conversation with that before Stiles and Derek was staring on an plan. "So why don't we just interrogate the dude?" Stiles asked while parking the car. "it's a good idea but lets snoop around his place too see if i can catch the scent and find the object he stole, if we can't get anywhere, we'll find Liam and grab Dax for a little chat." Derek opened the door as the other two agreed. The music was already so loud from outside and teenagers was already surrounding the place. Liam sighed as Derek just gave that "You kidding me" Look at stiles. "Alright lets do this!" They all hopped out of the jeep and made their way to the door, walking in and looking around. Liam looked at both adults and smiled, giving the signal that it was time to split up.

Liams eyes found his pack along with Dax who was sitting in an L shaped couch, talking. "Liam you made it! wheres your friend's at?" Maila asked while looking up at him and smiling as she was sitting in between Dax and Nolan. Liam sat across from them as on his side was Theo and on his other side was Mason and corey who was snuggled up together. "Yeah sorry i had some.. stuff to take care of before coming and they're here. Just exploring with curiousity" Liams eyes traveled to Theo's who was already staring at him, still not saying a single thing. He bit the inside of his cheek as he knew they still had to talk. "Well we was just playing truth or dare, you joined us at the perfect time Dunbar" Dax gave him an smirk which made him Just feel uneasy. "My turn~ Lets see who i wanna pick" Dax hummed out as if he already didn't know who he was going to pick. Liam shifted in his seat as he could still feel an pair of eyes on him and for some reason he felt like something bad was gonna happen at any moment from now. Theo turned to look away from him. "Dunbar. Truth or Dare" Liam snapped out of his thoughts and looked at Dax who was now grinning" "Uhm.." Liam knew there was no way out of this. He sighed "Dare." It was risky but he knew that it was probably better than Truth. Right? He could do this. Dax giggled as he rubbed his hands together before clapping them. "I dare you to grab anyone from the group and dance with them but! it has to be a sexy dance!" Liam felt his heart almost drop down to his stomach, he couldn't do that, he was getting a bit embarrassed while looking at the group.

He took back what he said, He can't do this. "I.. I dont think i can do that" Liam was now rubbing his thumb over his index finger, getting a little anxious which the others could smell. "Its part of the game dunbar, man up!" Dax was now playing unfair, Liam knew what he was trying to do and He was already over it. He just wanted to run away and so he did. "Maila can take my turn, I'm going outside for fresh air." Liam got up. "But you just got here, do you want me to come with?" Mason asked in a worried tone as Corey was giving him an sad puppy look, Nolan was staring at him confusingly and Maila was staring at him as if she already knew what was going. "No i'm okay, I'm just not big on parties" Theo knew that was a lie so before Liam could walk away Theo stood up grabbing his hand. "Come on Little wolf, Just do the dare."

I dont know what the heck i'm doing. I might just end it soon. I got all these ideas in my head but i cant tell if the story is even good- I need to stop second guessing myself.
