Chapter 3: So close

"Where are we exactly going?" Liam asked as he was still being lead away into the forest that surrounded beacon hills. Theo honestly didn't know where they was going either, he just wanted to get out of that room filled with those disgusting smells. "You'll see, we're almost there" He lied.

After walking for what it seemed like hours they finally reached an opened area in the forest, an flat rock sitting in the middle with a few tiny rocks near it. "here we are" Theo turned back at Liam, letting go of his hand and sitting down on the rock. Liam followed, sitting next to him.

They sat there in silence for an good few minutes before Theo spoke "Hey.. Liam?" Theo hummed out as the only other sounds surrounding them was the sounds of the night. Liam was a bit surprised at how Theo called him by his name, that making his stomach turn as 99% of the time Theo only did that when it was something important. "..Yeah?" Theo leaned back on his hands, looking up at the beautiful Yellow toned moon. "You know... we both can be assholes and we have our differences as well as i know the rest of the pack doesn't trust me like you do So uhm thanks for giving me the second chance." Theo paused for a second before continuing "I felt like you needed to hear me say that cause i was thinking maybe you was just worried i'd backstab you all again" Theo bit his lip as he always had an hard time expressing his feelings but for some reason he just felt like he could tell Liam everything if he wanted to.

Liam smiled as he moved his gaze over to Theo, trying to take in every second of this moment, He knew his heart was pounding and he kinda hoped Theo wouldn't notice as much but he mostly like did. "Yeah.. well.." He clears his throat and stands up "They'll come around to you, They just.. Don't know you like i do and.. well Scott taught us that everyone deserves a second chance.. Plus You was a victim yourself so.. yeah" Liam laughed nervously as Theo gasped and laughed with Liam. "I doubt it but i still appreciate it. So we gonna kiss now after all this disgusting sweet talk?" Theo teased Liam like he's alway done, Now smirking as Liam looks away, turning an bright shade of red "..Shut up Raeken before i punch you"

They both got quiet again Until Liams phone began to ring.

"Ah.. sorry give me a minute and no eavesdropping" Liam glared at Theo as he put his hands up in defeat, laughing once more while Liam walked a little distance from their spot and picking up the phone. "dude where are you?! we been searching for you, did you bail on us again? You could've told me-" Liam cut mason off with and small huff "Sorry mas, I got bored so Theo and i are hanging out right now" Mason gasped loudly " ALONE?! TOGETHER?! Oh my- COREY! Thiam Is happening! Hes with Theo" Mason yelled through the speakers making Liam pinched his nose as mason said "Thiam" it was a stupid ship name him and Corey made up ever since Liam brought Theo back from hell and bonded with him. "No! STOp! " Liam was Turning red again without him noticing, he hung up on his friends and stomped back to Theo.

"You good?" Theo looked over at Liam who just gave him a nod "Its getting pretty late.. Will you drive me home? I'll lend you the Guest bedroom again. My dad left a few days ago to go see my grams so the house is pretty empty"
Theo stood up, brushing off his pants as he nodded. He didnt say much which made Liam nervous. Did he listen into his phone call? Oh god he hoped Theo didn't. When Theo was now calling for Liam, it made him jump "Earth to Little wolf, Hello??" Liam realized they already had made it back to Theos trunk "Sorry i was just thinking, what did you say?" Liam asked while both boys climbed into the truck and headed to Liams house. "i was asking if you was okay, i could see the steam coming out from that brain of yours" Liam nodded and looked out the window "Yeah i'm alright, ill try to keep the thinking to a minimum haha"

Theo looked over at Liam and smiled as they pulled into the driveway both boys getting out of the truck and heading inside to their open separate rooms. "I'll see you in the morning little wolf~" Theo teased as he closed the door, leaving Liam to stand in the hallway before entering his own room and getting ready for bed. "gahh! I HATE when he calls me those stupid names" He Liam grumbled into his pillows while kicking off his shoes and sliding into his blankets.

Before both boys drifted off to sleep, Liam whispered an "Goodnight" to Theo even though he was sure the other boy was already asleep.

So? You guys still enjoying the story? I know my writing isnt the best but for some reason i am very proud of my work so far <3 i definitely improved over the years.
