Chapter 9: Its you

Theo's run finally came to an end as his eyes stopped on the man he loved, he watched the scene of the broken beta unfold and it pained him to see Liam like this. It was his fault after all, he left without giving him a reason, he got engaged to someone else, he broke all their promises and every little bit of love and trust Liam had for him. Even though the beta still loved the chimera so much, it was clear as day to see that the love he has is drowning in a river of pain and anger.

"Liam.. I'm sorry, i didn't ever mean to hurt you and you know this, i know you know this." He stepped closer until there was a small gap between the both of them. Liam didn't answer and of course he didn't look up either, he was drowning in his own thoughts, his own pain. He was dealing with something that Theo only had one chance at fixing and if he failed, Liam would be unfixable, he would carry something with him most people do. Trust issues, Pain, Anger and Guilt.

"I left because if i didn't those hunters was going to kill you. I made a deal with their leader, a man named Dune. Dune Abbott. He was the man behind the killings of Dex's pack, He wanted to open the container that the Nogitsune was kept in, he heard a rumor that the trickster fox could give the power to the one who released him, and he wanted that power. But-"

A tear fell from Theo's cheek, it's been a while since he cried. He preferred to hold it all in as he didn't want those damn witches and hunters to see the weakness in him. "But i made a deal with him to stop him from harming everyone, especially you. The boy you accidentally killed was his youngest son and he wasn't very happy to get the news about it, He was going to kill you and i just- i couldn't lose you. You made me feel something i never thought i could feel, you saved me, you trusted me when no one else did. I'm sorry Liam."

Liam stayed quiet; his eyes still glued to the ground as Theo spoke. "So... the deal was that i leave what i love the most behind and live a life of eternal pain as a punishment for the death of his son. I wasn't allowed to tell you any of this because that would also void our deal meaning he would kill you and make me watch."

Theo cupped Liams cheek, making him look up into the chimera's glossy eyes.  The feeling of his metal rings pressing against his cheek made him shiver as his eyes scanned Theos only to gain a golden stare that always made the beta hypnotized "I love you Liam, i always have and always will. i'm so sorry"

Liam put his hands on Theo's, pulling him closer as more tears fell from his eyes. "Then why are you engaged to that woman in there?" Liams voice sounded so broken and that pained Theo even more.  "3 years ago, 2 years after leaving you... Dune realized that i was not suffering enough so he forced me to marry his daughter. Max Abbott. She is the second youngest witch in their family, but her father also wanted to make her pay-"

"She refused to be part of his hunters; she saw the good in the supernatural and with her family being full of witches she believes that this was the doing of the wrong, so her father made her get with me and just recently i found out why..." Theo gave another disgusted look at the thought. 

"Why did he want you guys together if it wasn't just to hurt you more?" Liam whispered as his eyes stared into Theos. The chimera took a moment to reply because just saying it made his stomach turn. "He wanted us to create a weapon. He wanted her to birth my child and in hopes it would have the same abilities as me and then raise that child into a hunter."

Liam bit his lip as there was only one thing left, something that he wanted to ask so badly and so he did. "Do you love her?" Theo stood there, he smiled as he moved one hand from the beta's cheek and into his hair, brushing a curl from his forehead. 

"No. We are just good friends who are stuck in the middle of her father's wrath-" Liam scanned Theos eyes once more before Pushing his lips against Theos. The kiss was full of so many emotions, Anger, Sadness, Guilt, Lust, happiness but mainly Love. 

Their hands roamed each other before Liam pulled away, He wanted more and so didn't Theo but now wasn't the time, it was time to go back and explain to the others and get their plan into action, cause Liam wasn't going to lose the one he loved again even if it means killing someone Specially if it also means that person deserves it.

"Its always been you Liam. Since day one and it'll always be you even when we pass on"

As soon as Theo finished telling everyone his reasons on why everything happened things cleared up just a bit and even though Dex apologized to the chimera, he still was pissed off with him. It'd take time just like it would take time for Liam to heal. He was happy to have Theo back but deep down he still had some wounds that needed fixed up.

After the conversation, everyone left Dereks home. They had to plan out everything and once it was ready to be put into action, they would let Derek know.
