Chapter 10: True alpha now

Its rare but a beta can become something stronger without having to take a alphas power; They call this a True Alpha.-

A week later

The plan was set into place, and they were told by Derek to wait, he had called around to get some back up since this Dune person seemed to have tons of connections at least that is what his daughter was telling everyone but Liam was getting frustrated, he kept thinking on why he had to wait, why he had to take the chance of losing those around him while backup came; So he took matters into his own hands.

"Liam! i caught his scent over here! Let's go" Dex yelled as Liam followed, both men stepping into an abandon warehouse. "This place seems... familiar..." Liam whispered as both stopped mid in their tracks, hearing a man laugh and clapping his hands. "ah... you made it."

Both their eyes glowing and claws ready to attack "Who's there?!" Liam yelled when a man walked out, standing on the second floor that looked down onto the main floor, His eyes glaring down at the both of them. "You must be Liam. Such a pity... Theo went back on our deal and that means... Your life is coming to an end."

"You don't scare me Mr. Abbott, matter of fact i'm here to take your life instead." Liam stepped closer as Dex held his arm. "Liam, He isn't alone here, the place sounds surrounded, this might've been a bad idea." 

"You should listen to your friend there Liam, coming here by yourselves was a mistake" Dune tapped his fingers on the railing as he walked down closer to the beta. A few of his hunters now coming out from the dark. Liam bit his lip as he stepped in front of Dex, he was smaller than him, but he wasn't going to allow another person he cared so much about get hurt because of some jackass. "Just because we came here alone doesn't mean i can't kick your ass. You ruined my life and i will ruin yours. You think these hunters have anything on me? If anything, i could take all of you myself." 

Liam roared, he was so frustrated and angry; He remembered back then when that feeling came over him, that feelings that made him attack that kid. He was feeling that creep up again, that awful feeling. Dune's eyes moved over to Dex, a smirk forming on his lips. "You care so much about this friend of yours don't you Liam? You want to talk like you have power here so let me show you who really has the power."

June snapped his fingers as a hunter pointed his crossbow at Dex, waiting for the signal to shoot and when June gave him that signal the hunter took his shot. The arrow flying down so fast and as Dex closed his eyes, waiting for it to hit his chest, It didn't and that made him even more terrified. Dex's voice Shaked as he whispered the betas name, only to get nothing but a gasp from Dune. "How'd the hell-" Dune growled, this making Dex open his eyes to see the scene in front of him.

Liam was leaning down on his one knee, panting as the arrow had hit him in the shoulder and fuck did it hurt like hell but he was not going to let that stopped him. He wasn't going to let this man hurt anyone else, he had to do something about it and at this very moment, Liam didn't care about his eye color for once, he didn't care if he needed to kill anyone in this room. 

"Liam?! You, okay?!" Dex was trying to shield him as Dune stepped closer, worried about his friend, but Liam stood up, breaking the arrow out of his shoulder and turning to look at June "Liam your-"Before Dex could finish his sentence his friends showed up. 

Derek had kicked down the warehouse door with his son and uncle next to him and behind him was Theo, Max, Scott, Mason and Corey.  The list went on, everyone was there, and Liam was happy.  That is his Family. "You have no right. How fucking dare, you-" Liam stepped closer to Dune but the man stepped back while Theo caught his attention.

"Liam get away from him! i won't allow him to hurt you" Theo stepped forward with a growl but a hunter cut him off and that's when the war started. Hunters was fighting his friends and Dune was taking the chance to leave so Liam ran after him. He was going to make sure that he would get his happy ending he deserved.

Liam had Dune cornered, this was it and the choice was his to make. "You going to kill me like my son? You disgusting monster!" Dune spit in Liams face as Liam gave him a smile. "I'm an alpha now, i do not care what happens to my eyes and as much as i'd like to send you to your son i won't. I'm no monster and that was a accident. You sent him out overpower, think on that."

Dune scoffed as the newly alpha in front of him was talking non-sense. "It was your fault not mine. He wanted to help me and i allowed it. that is how our family runs, we teach them young." 

Liam was now staring at him with disgust. "What about your daughter huh? She didn't want to be part of this and you punished her by forcing her to marry someone? to birth their child? You're fucking pathetic, sick. You don't care for your family; you only care for power." Liam gripped his throat in anger. How could someone like this exist, how could someone raise their kids so poorly, treat them like objects or weapons. This angered him so much and slowly, inch by inch Liam was just about to snap.

"Let him go Please! Liam, that's my father. I know he's done horrible things and we are here to stop him but we are not here to kill him!" Max ran in out of breath, her eyes glossy and her clothes covered in bits of blood; mainly from being scratched or beaten.  

Liam took a deep breath, his eyes glowing their crimson red as a tear drip down his cheek, he kept his grip on the man as silence filled the air between them well almost silence. Dune was still fighting for his life, trying to get air through the tight grip Liam had on him.
