Chapter 5: I'll see you soon

if you love me, say it; If you trust me, do it; if you want me, show it and if you need me, prove it. -

The doors swung open as Liam sighed, a little frustrated as he didn't want his friend to see him breaking into a million of pieces. "Dex please, we can leave for beacon hills shortly. I just want time to breathe" Liams eyes stayed on the stars that was sparkling in the sky as the person who entered the balcony with him stepped closer. "Why are you are here and what's in beacon hills?" 

Liam didn't want to turn around even though he wanted out of here now. He knew exactly who that was, and it was not his friend; before he knew it, Liam tilt his head back, laughing. " 5 years almost 6 and that's all you have to say to me? huh Theo?" Liam finally turned around, His eyes red and puffy from crying as his fists was pressing tightly against his sides. 

"Liam..this isn't what it seems, i know you're upset and angry with me but please let me explain, It wasn't meant to happen his way, i was just trying to keep you safe" Theo took in Liams features, he aged pretty well over the years and God did he feel so fucking terrible, he never meant to hurt Liam.

"Safe?! Being with you made me safe. You... you got up and left. You told me to wait and i did. 5 years Theo, do you know how it feels to wait for so long? Waiting for a call, a sign, anything each day, to jump at every sound heard? You broke your promise!"

"Liam calm down and lets just talk, i promise its not what you think!" Theo was now playing with the rings on his fingers as he stepped closer. "I love you Liam, i never stopped loving you."

Liam moved to the side, leaving as his heart was feeling mixed emotions, but Theo pulled him back quickly before letting go of him. The air was silent, and Liam bit his lip, Fuck. Theo missed this, he missed watching Liam get lost in his thoughts, His scent. His eyes. He missed his little wolf so badly.

"You love me...?" Liam croaked out as Theo nodded. "I do so lets talk about this" Liam just shook his head now crying once again this time his fists were pressed against the chimera's chest, slamming them against him multiple times.  "Well- i hate you!.. I hate you Theo-" He gripped Theo's shirt. "I hate you so.. why do i still love you so damn much that it hurts..." He whispered; this making Theo tear up. He broke the love of his life, and it was never meant to be this way, he was telling the truth. He did this for Liams sake, but he never did expect to be engaged to some rich girl.

Theo pulled his little wolf to his chest, hugging him tightly. "How can you love me when you're going to be married to someone else?" Liam still couldn't stare at the man that he loved so dearly and that made Theo a little frustrated, yet he knew he deserved it. "Her father, He enforced it and i didn't get any choice as it was an hidden part of our Deal." 

"What Deal?" Liam pulled away from Theo as he ran his hands over his face. "I can't explain it here, People.. Listen in. Give me your number and i'll meet up with you back in beacon hills since you never told me why you're going there."

Liam stood there, He needed answers on what the hell was going on, he also wasn't in the right mind set as he did just find out the person, he waited on for so long is now engaged. He sighed and bit his lip, pulling his phone out and handing it over. "I missed you Theo, there is so much i want to say and do with you but i know i can't. Not until i know the truth on everything Because if you lie to me then i'm gone. I've waited for too long that i deserve happiness as well."

Theo only nodded, he knew Liam was right, but he also knew he wouldn't lie to Liam, not after the whole Dread Doctors thing back when they were teens. "Guess you did keep one promise standing." Liam looked away, softly chuckling.  "And what would be that promise?" Theo grabbed Liams face, staring down into his eyes. 

Liam could feel the cold metal of the rings that pressed against his cheeks; instantly making him shiver. He missed Theos touch and he hated that. "You did ruin me. in so many different ways."

"I promise you i would come back and i will. I have always been yours little wolf and once you understand everything than i hope you will forgive me for all the pain I've caused. I also hope Dex wont murder me because Hes got that look in his eyes." Theo laughed at the last comment he made before pecking Liams lips. 

"He won't hurt you. I hope. Text me soon. I should get going, I have a lot to thing about and i'm sure my mind will be wondering now" Liam backed away as he opened the door and before stepping out he turned around "And Theo? i really missed you and part of me hates that i do so please don't hurt me anymore, i don't think i can handle it"

After Theo and Liam had talked, the beta went to find his friend so they could go home. He knew Dex was going to be angry with him after he told him everything but at the same time, he also knew how Dex couldn't stay mad at him for too long. 

The ride home was nice but getting inside was not. Liam and Dex had gotten into a small argument after the whole Theo talk and while they were packing for beacon hills. "I say just be careful pup. He left for so long and hurt you in ways that pained me to see. I don't want you getting hurt any more than you already are so if he crosses the line, ONE TIME then I'm beating his ass. " Dex climbed into bed as he finished up his rant. 

Liam was thankful to have such a good person in his life. He laid on the floor as he did not want to be alone in his own room tonight. "Goodnight Dex" 

"Goodnight troublemaker" Dex hummed while drifting off to sleep.

Alright. I don't want to give a ton of detail on some things but i also don't want anyone confused. Dex wanted to visit the hales if you recall and that's why they are going back to beacon hills. 

Theo has to be careful on what he says and does around certain people or the deal he made with Max's father could be broken and that is something he doesn't want. More detail on why he made a deal with her dad and what the deal is in the next chapters! <3
