Chapter 16: I can't lose you

Mason and Corey told Liam that they was suppose to stay behind and make sure nobody went in the woods but He couldn't do that and it was never his intentions in the first place So He begged Corey to take him in unnoticed and he actually done it for him. "you owe me one Li.." Corey mumbled as he tightened his grip on Liams hand, using his ability so they wouldn't get caught. "of course Cor" Liam was worried and maybe a little scared.

Theo was standing there with two hunters pointing their weapons at him, Nobody else was there to defend him or fight with him as the others was caught up in a war of other hunters and everyone knew that Scotts pack didn't kill so it was much more difficult to take them down without doing so.

"I'm going to help him" Liam Loosened his grip from Coreys hand before Corey had tighten his grip around Liams hand "No, not yet. We have to think smartly on this Li" Liam just couldn't sit there and watch Theo get hurt but he listened to his friend. "Alright.."

"Give us the jar and we will be on our merry way. Its 2 against 1 , you already lost" one of the hunters glared at him, holding their hand out waiting for him to give them what they was asking for. This only made Theo smirk at them, laughing actually. "I been to hell and back, you think two little dipshits like yourselves is going to scare me? I'm not giving you shit, you're just going to have to come take it from me" He pulled his claws out, his yellow golden eyes shining bright with determination.

The other hunter decided to attack with hand combat with the chimera as the one who was speaking was trying to take the aim. "Thats all you got? Pathetic " Theo wiped some blood from his nose as the Hunter was now laying on the ground, knocked out cold with a few broken bones but as soon as he looked up at the other, The shot was fired.

Liam had tried to jump in, trying to take the hit for Theo but was too late. Theo had gotten shot just above his stomach and Watching him fall to the ground this triggered something in Liam, something that he felt back in the zoo with Nolan but stronger.

He was trying to control himself while holding the hunter off, Roaring with pure anger. "Get Scott! NOW !" Corey ran off quickly, yelling for Scott and With Theo on the ground, wounded he was no help for Liam right now, He couldn't calm him down and Liam knew he couldn't hold back much longer. It was like something clawing inside of him, telling him to hurt this person.

It was too late, Liam snapped and done something he'll regret. With the hunter on the ground, dead from Liam clawing and punching them, He was now holding Theo in his arms, crying. "Theo you okay? I'm sorry, This plan was stupid!" Liam was sobbing as Theo reached up, placing his hand on Liams cheek "Don't cry for me Little wolf, It'll be okay. Im not like you but i am a chimera. I just heal slowly.." Theo coughed as the pain was actually not so bearable.

"Don't die on me Raken, I still need you! I.. I mean we all need you" Liam bit his lip, trying to control his sobbing as Theo's hand left his cheek, dropping down. "What happened Liam!" Scott ran up beside them, checking Theo for a pulse which he still had. "He.. got shot!" Liam couldn't look at his alpha because he wasn't sure how he'd feel once he figured out that his beta had killed someone. That his eyes was no longer their golden color but an Crystal blue. Liam was so terrified of both his eyes and losing Theo.

"We already have some injured too, We are heading to the hospital, So get him in his truck and we will meet you there, My mom can take care of us. Do you want me to send Derek with you?" Scott asked "Yeah.. I'll need help.." Liam whimpered out as he picked Theo up, walking behind Scott.

Derek and Liam had already gotten to the Hospital, Mama McCall took them down to the floor that was never used, this was where she helped the supernatural. "Go and rest up, you can visit him right after" She said, patting Liams back and giving Derek a nod, leaving them both there in the hallway chairs.

"Liam are you okay? If you're that worried about Theo you can stop, He'll be fine." Derek asked while crossing his arms, He could hear the betas heartbeat pounding so fast and loud. "Derek..If someone carries Blue eyes, does that mean they're a bad person?" Liam was now bouncing his knee and rubbing his hand over his mouth. "Well.. there is a few different meanings of having blue eyes but the one that worries a lot of people.. Is the one that takes a innocent life." Derek stared at the young beta, giving him an confusing look "but why would you ask about that, i thought Scott already explained that to you"

"Derek.. I did something bad and i don't know how to tell Scott, i'm so scared, it happened to fast and.." Liam cut himself off, pushing his face into his hands. "Liam, whatever it is you've done, It'll be okay. You'll get through it and everyone will be there to support you when youre ready to explain." Derek stood up as Liam looked up at him. "Don't tell Scott please. Not until i can get the courage to tell him myself"

"You got my word Liam, Now go stay with your boyfriend, he'll need someone once he wakes up." Derek was walking to the elevator now, leaving the beta there in the hallway flustered. "We are not dating!"

Liam entered the room, his eyes scanning Theo who seemed to sleeping peacefully, he was thankful mama McCall knew how to take care of everyone. He took a seat next to the bed, letting his stress get to him as he dozed off.

Alright i kind of cried a bit though this chapter...

Also, happy Valentine's day! I spent my day working and now snuggled up with a nice candle and ice cream.
