Chapter 7: Small Apology

Having feelings, you cannot express towards your best friend is hard but deep down you know that you'd rather sacrifice your own feelings to keep them close. -

Dex had rented out a car for their trip to Beacon hills. The ride wasn't as he expected but at this point, he felt like he should just expect the unexpected. Liam Kept his eyes out his passenger window, silence filled the car, and it was bugging Dex a shit ton.  

Liam was upset and annoyed, anyone supernatural could smell it right off him and if you were human, you could see it from his actions. 

"Liam please just talk to me, okay? I'm sorry pup, i acted out and i know it wasn't my place but i worry about you, I care about you. I don't want you to be hurt anymore, i don't want to see you in that dark place ever again..." Dex was trying to hold back his tears by tightening his grip on the steering wheel. He knew that it wasn't his place to yell at Liam like he did but at the same time he was being stupid, Theo was his weakness and as much pain he gave that beta, the beta would still forgive him even if he told you he wouldn't. 

Silence, no response so Dex kept talking. "I get it. You love him more than anything in this world. He is your anchor after all, and nothing can compare to that" Dex scratched his eyebrow before taking in a deep breath. " i love you and i want the best for you so if this is what you want then let's do this. Let's get the answers you deserve, let's get our Theo back." 

Liam smiled and looked over at his friend "I love you as well you idiot. I'm sorry too. I appreciate you and i'm very thankful to have you in my life as well. Something about Theo just... i can't explain it so this is what i want but if he tells me he doesn't want me or if he lies to me once i'm gone. I can't stay any longer as 5 years is enough."

Dex sighed in relief, happy that he finally got Liam to talk. "As you should and I'll try to stay out of trouble but right now Theo and i  do have some issues that we need to clear up. at least for you and the friendship."

The ride to Beacon hills was much better as the both of them was talking to each other, Soon they will arrive at the Hales house, though they didn't tell anyone they were coming so it will be a small surprise. 

This was a short chapter so i do apologize for that. The next chapter will have a fight in it and some other things <3!
