Kie and Pope got back in the morning, the group immediately leaving the chateau and finding somewhere else to talk. They caught Kie and Pope up on the boat ride.
"Look, if Rafe and Barry know, it's only a matter of time." Sarah says.
"Before everyone knows." Pope adds.
"I told you." JJ scoffs. "We should have just gone south, man."
"JJ, just stop it." John B says.
"Why does no one ever listen?" JJ asks.
"I get it. I get it! I understand." John B says.
"I have an idea." Sarah says. "With me back, my dad's going to have to choose between me and Rafe."
"Look, I know you were favorite child, but I think that's probably gone by now." Brooklyn tells her cousin.
"Sarah, Sarah--" John B tries.
"He's gonna choose me." Sarah states.
"Yes." Sarah nods.
"Just please listen." John B interjects. "Ward keeps lying to you, Sarah."
"Sarah, he's not gonna agree after everything that's happened." Kie says.
"No, I... I know it sounds crazy." Sarah says.
"Extremely crazy." Erin says.
"I think bizarre's a better term." Zack comments.
"Yeah, it does." Kie agrees.
"I know!" Sarah exclaims. "But he's my dad. And I know him, and I know he loves me. An-- and your dad, Brookie. He-- he'd choose you over Rafe."
"No. No, he wouldn't. Sarah, you're forgetting, I didn't "die." I was here. He locked me in my fucking room so that Rafe could live like nothing ever happened." Brooklyn says.
"I'm just asking for two hours." Sarah says.
Brooklyn rubs her temples, digging her hands into her scalp.
Nobody objects, though none of them are pleased with the idea. Sarah slowly gets up and starts walking away.
"Sarah." John B calls, going over to her. "Are you sure?"
"Mm-hmm. Yeah." She nods.
"Okay." He whispers, putting his forehead against hers. "Okay."
"No." Brooklyn stands up.
"Brooke--" Sarah starts to say.
"No, you're not going alone." Brooklyn states.
"Whoa, whoa, what are you insane?" JJ asks.
"She's my cousin." Brooklyn says. "She's the only person who has consistently been there for me. I'm not letting her go alone."
JJ quietly sighs, but knows he can't tell her what to do.
"Just come back." JJ quietly pleads.
"I will." She whispers. Brooklyn walks over to Sarah.
"Brooke, you don't have to." Sarah says.
"They're my family, too." Brooklyn says.
"Okay." Sarah whispers. Brooklyn holds her hand out and Sarah takes it, interlinking their fingers as they walk towards the boat.

The two Camerons get to Sarah's house and tie the boat off to the dock. They get out and start to walk down the dock. Sarah stops, turning back.
