Chapter 5: Mugen Train

Time is sometimes but a window, it's with or against us in peaceful or dire circumstances in many ways possible,
A lone Demon slayer was walking around town and entered a small restaurant when he heard someone shout-

TASTY ( UMAI)

That's when he heard that recognizable energetic and passionate voice, he found Rengoku feasting on Tempura with a proud and passionate smile that he always kept for his expression as he watches a fellow Slayer entering.

Kyojuro: Ah, nice seeing you here!

M-slayer: I apologize for interrupting your meal Lord Rengoku.

Kyojuro: No problem at all, please have a seat, and Chef please give this lad something to eat.

They began eating while the chef continues cooking just in case they requested more on the way after all these Slayers can't go on with an empty stomach for good reasons.

Kyojuro: So has the woman been properly treated for her wounds from last night?

M-slayer: Yes sir.

Kyojuro: good, I just wish I could have done more for her.

M-slayer: Did you hear about the strange disappearances of forty people on the train?

Kyojuro: Indeed, which is why we must go and investigate!

They quickly paid for the food and left the shop as they venture through the town at night and reached the station where the Mugen Train was previously, Raya and Mulan kept observing the station for a few minutes or so which is almost much to their disappointment they thought it was a waste of their time until someone steps in time their surprise to see a certain young man with blonde hair with red tints that resembles the colors of Fire and wearing a flame-designed haori.

Kyojuro: oh hello there, not from around here are you?

Mulan: No actually, what brings you here?

Raya: What is up with his hair?

He heard that simple question which he gets the same reply from others, and he simply laughs it off believing it was a compliment.

Kyojuro:( laughs) I got this a lot from others who first saw my hair color!

Mulan: We're just trying to wait for this "Mugen Train " if you know where it is?

Kyojuro: Ah so you too are looking for the Mugen Train as well?

Raya: yeah that's why we're here.

Kyojuro: In that case, how about you come along with me so we can find it?

After a moment they couldn't let this opportunity slip away since they have been searching for this Train for quite some time they were aboard a regular express and they were puzzled why would Kyojuro bring a huge stack of food from the train station but they were surprised to see Rengoku going outside of the Caboose while staring at the distant lights which could mean one thing: " the repair station for trains" however before he could jump they stopped him before he could do anything else.

Mulan: what were you thinking?

Kyojuro: Don't fret, I can get there faster.

Raya: can't you at least wait for the train to make a stop?

Kyojuro: I'm still doing it!

Mulan: wait what's your name?

Kyojuro: I am the Flame-Hashira: Kyojuro Rengoku!

He instantly jumped as they saw him running at high speeds while looking at a faint sight of flames appearing and disappearing, however, when they heard that he claims himself to be the Flame-Hashira they began to recap about the Demon-Slayer corps high ranking swordsmen and only the Hashira are the ones who came from that group so could it be that they have finally found a member of the Demon-Slayer corps? Without Even thinking they quickly jumped off the train and quickly went after him, soon a huge rolling ball came out of nowhere and followed Raya which meant that it was not just any huge rolling ball just rolling on its own, it was her pet named Tuk-Tuk as they got on his back while heading towards the maintenance center as they watch Kyojuro Rengoku deliver that huge stack of food to the workers and engineers, they were surprised but warmed by this generous act as they followed him inside the building.
