Chapter 8: Recover/wardawn

High in the treetops was the Hun leader Shan-yu as he held on to the nearest and toughest branch as his Falcon named "Haybusa" swooped in and gave something to him from his very talons, he examined the object which it turns out to be some sort of doll that belongs to a little girl but this also shows that there is a village not too far from his current location as he Descends from the tree and lands on solid ground to meet up with his generals and Kokushibo in the darkness of the forest.

Shan-yu: What do you see?

Hun-General: Black pine, from the high mountains!

Hun-Swordsman-1: White horse hair, imperial stallions.

Hun-tracker: Gun powder, from guns and cannons.

Kokushibo: what does this mean?

Shan-yu: This doll came from a village in the Tung-Shao past, where most of the Republic Army of China and half of the Demon-Slayer corps await us at the temple.

Kokushibo: How do you know that the Demon Slayers are there too?

He revealed a piece of a haori from one of the Slayers which caused him to make a cold scowl expression on his face as he grips onto his sword as if the lust for battle boiled in his blood.

Hun-Archer: We can avoid them easily.

Hun-tracker: We can use that to get to the sleeping prince.

Shan-yu: No, the quickest way to get to the temple where the young prince sleeps is through that past and besides, a little girl will be missing her doll, we must return it to her.

Kokushibo: Very then, we must move before sunrise, it's our only chance.

They proceed to move forward on horses as they move quickly to the Tung-Shao past in hopes of reaching a temple where they think that this "Sleeping prince " takes residence after hundreds or thousands of years.
In the faraway landscapes of Japan somewhere over the vast majority of the forest was a huge silhouette of a giant creature walking about like a moving mountain walking through the dark and calm corners of the woods as if this presence slowly gives off a new Aroma and this pleases the abundance of nature and him as well,
The Goliath-looking silhouette appeared to be a Lizard-looking beast until it is revealed to be the King of monsters himself: Godzilla.
He passes over through mountains and valleys while admiring the beauties of nature and what it has to offer, nonetheless he would only truly enjoy and savor this moment once he finds the sleeping prince, his son is still nowhere to be seen unfortunately
But he continues to search for him no matter what the cost, he always had the balance of both good and bad memories seeping into his mind every day like a soldier that has post dramatic distress from a long and bloody war fighting for an important cause if it was either worth it or not according to his point of view, he continues his way Foward through the harsh forest like so in his wake until he heard something that sounded familiar, he heard what seems to be faint roars from a distant and it sounds like a mating call, how correct he was and he knew what kaiju could make this sort of call and he wasn't staying to find out but he knew that he has to act quickly otherwise who knows what will happen next if this goes out of control.
Not too far from his current location, he saw the species of an old enemy of his kind, it was the two parasitic Titans with black and Grey skin with a muddy texture, insect-like appendages, and Reptilian heads with huge red lines that represents their eyes, it was non-other than Titanus Jinshin-Mushi or the Dragon-Beetle or worse: the Muto.
So disgusted by this and remembering how they hunt down the last remaining members of his kind he let out a loud primal roar in Dominance or as a way of challenging them, the Muto pair did the same as they charged Foward once Godzilla grabs the throat of the female and clamps down and proceeds to tackle her to
The side of the mountain pins her to the ground under his heavy foot as it seems to squish her like the littoral bug she is to him in his perspective however, she calls for her mate as the Male Muto drags him away long enough for the female to get up on her feet and rams Godzilla into a cliff as he rises to roar at her face only to repeatedly getting bombarded with a series of attacks from the Muto's, however, he tail swaths the female away to focus on the male as he struggles, they continued to fight ferociously as the Male Muto grabs onto his back and bites him, this causes Godzilla to roar in pain as he bites back and swinging the hawk muto around like a rag-doll, what seems to be a few minutes later he waited for the Hawk-Muto to return for a flanking attack which resulted in Godzilla slapping him with his tail against a mountain killing him in the process, the female was last as she charges at him, she used her front appendages and her jaws to hold her own and even used her E.M.P ability to weakened his atomic breath, this bought her time to escape until she was caught by the jaws of the King of monsters as he drags her while prying her jaws open and fired the remaining deadly remains of his atomic breath which is enough to kill her, he holds her head in his hand and roars in victory, it wasn't an easy victory for him but he prevailed as he tossed her head into the water, he resumes his search for his son hoping he could get his scent or anything else he can get a good lead on, nonetheless he continues his journey with no stopping until he somehow feels his presence like he knows where he is heading, this could be his only chance to make sure he's alright. At the butterfly mansion, Kyojuro Rengoku was still asleep from the Mugen Train incident as he appeared to be healed, he begins to wake up and took a careful look around his surroundings,
He knows that he's in the butterfly mansion and he took a look at his hand to see if it's still Reptilian but to his surprise, it turned back to normal
Until he heard footsteps coming toward him and the one who came was Shinobu Kocho.

Shinobu: Mr. Rengoku, your finally awake.

Kyojuro: Ah Shinobu, it's quite good seeing you again so how is everything, and is everyone on the train safe and sound?

Shinobu: No need for you to worry my friend, they're all well, and your mission was a total success.

Kyojuro: Good, I'm just glad that everyone is alive and well.

Shinobu: You know you also saved my older sister so I must thank you for that but you need to worry about yourself, you've been out for a week.

Surprised by this he was told that everyone was worried about him and if he was ever going to wake up, suddenly Kanae appeared and walked up to him with a smile of warmth and relief on her face.

Kanae: You're finally awake, do you feel any pain?

Kyojuro: Well yes but I'm alright, how about you?

Kanae: I'm fine Rengoku, don't risk your life like that.

Kyojuro: it's my duty as a Hashira to protect the innocent even giving up my own life.

Kanae: Just don't go crazy on me, promise?

Kyojuro: I promise Kanae.

They looked at each other for what seemed to be like minutes as Kanae held his hand, Tanjiro and his squad began running in and hugged Rengoku with tears of joy running down as Rengoku laughed at this tender moment.

Kamado squad: BIG BROTHER!

Zenitstu: You almost died!

Inosuke: DON'T DO THAT ON US!

Tanjiro: We're nothing without you!

Kyojuro: It's alright my friends are Young Kamado, I saw your sister defending the sleeping passengers, anyone who would do that is a member of the Demon-Slayer corps.

His eyes widen as his expression turned into a smile, his sister Nezuko was now recognized as a Demon slayer by the Flame-Hashira of course, this shocked the Kocho sisters but they were thrilled to hear the whole story about what happened, Rengoku requested only Tanjiro to go ahead and pay his old residence a little visit to see his little brother Senjuro and his Father Shinjuro, for the rest of the week Kyojuro has been well-taken care of by Kanae who has been spending time with him as well, however after the uncomfortable visit with Tanjiro and Rengoku's family at the Rengoku household things went a little normal, Kanae was walking to see Kyojuro recovering until she saw a man with him, it was his father Shinjuro Rengoku and his little brother, she heard about his drinking problems but she didn't hear any lashing nor abuse but sobbing.

Shinjuro: You're just an idiot son that I almost lost, Don't ever scare me!

She saw him finally embracing his eldest son as Senjuro joined in, this family was now stable once again, they took the time to make up for all the lost time in the past until Mulan and Raya who were called by Kagaya Ubuyashiki as he informed Shinjuro about the Hun Army, Kanae continues to grow closer and closer to Kyojuro until one night when he was standing on his two feet Kanae walks with him to see the moonlight illuminating from above.

Kyojuro: Beautiful as always!

Kanae: I know, I'll never get bored at it.

Kyojuro: I want to thank you for being there for my Tsuguko and his squad, I'm glad that my father stopped drinking and Senjuro is truly happy.

Kanae: Yeah and I think your little brother is cute.

They laughed at this compliment as he understood what she meant, suddenly their hands touched again but this Kanae did one little fun sneak attack, she kissed him on the cheek which caused him to blush, and they continued to stare at the moonlight as
Mulan and Raya informed Kagaya Ubuyashiki and Tengen Uzui of the situation at hand, the good news is that they decided to officially make this new alliance and continue as planned but before they may consider it Done the entertainment district must be secured first otherwise this war will become complicated, however, they know that the King of monsters himself is still searching for this sleeping prince and to make sure that they receive permission to have the Kamado squad to help out, they must help eliminate another possible Upper Moon in the entertainment district.
