It was the second week of March and things seemed to move in slow motion. And for Kyouki, it just made her irritable. With the weather warming slowly, it was still a month before the street racing season. She had nothing to do. Kyouki's date with Dane the following week, postponed because of business. True, she had to go out of town for Koi. With Johnny calling and saying he had a pickup, Shaundi came into her office saying that there's a guy she knows who has been breeding strains of cannabis to look him up. Which brought on how they were going to get in and out with the plants.
Which was when Bobby and Brian came in, who had just overheard Shaundi, Gat, and her talking about the transportation of plants."Aye cuz. Hey G, Shaundi. Aye cuz, Rashad and Ivory stay over in Steelport; they make enough to get by, they can help. I can call em?"
Looking at her cousin, Kyouki's eyes narrowed. "No. Aunty will kill me and you."
"Come on, I ain't never ask for nothin."
"Ok? You want me dead, for real this time?"
"Cuz!"
Brian interjected. "Ok, how about this one time?"
"You in on this too? Why can you not just take no for an answer?" The looks that the two grown men gave her made Ky groaned. "Fine! Call em." She threw her hands in the air. Knowing it was fast, but stupid, money. "Just this once and no more. I'm not dying for real. You ain't getting me in trouble. Your momma was already ready to beat my ass about that... shit." Ky smirked, thinking about how much damage the mayor had paid her do to Ultor.

Shaundi had more info, she relayed; that the Samedi had also shipped to the neighboring city. Donovan, the man who Kyouki posed as a sub-teacher to get close too, provided that tidbit Kyouki had added to the notes file already.
When they came to the big city of Steelport, just one of its many islands across the bridge from Stilwater. To the home of the Davis's, Kyouki hadn't seen Rashad or Ivory in years, or their mother for that matter, when she once sat for them.
Seeing them gave Ky a good feeling, and they looked well. But when Ky heard that, they had to move from their spot when the Row was cleaned disturbed her. She could understand developers buying out families to make way for buildings, and Ultor certainly paid plenty of people to leave. This family, she knows, was just one of them.Rashad confirmed that there was Loa already in Steelport, just in small sections of the city. "Ky, Imma fly wit ya'll."
Kyouki turned from the door. "Fly what?"
Pulling out a purple headband tied around his arm. "Saints for Life." Rashad stated proudly.
With a nod, she approved, but held a finger to her lips. Rashad and Ivory understood. Keep it quiet for now . The
Johnny picked up his cases of ammunitions, Kyouki spoke to the guy named Nunez, Shaundi spoke of, and then they headed home. Snatch and Burn operation was going to be a success. Knowing this would put a major crimp and possibly slow cut to the Sons' profit.~*Purgatory.*~
Kyouki was antsy, ready to get this done. She only practices patience. Several of her crew had been hard at work getting the greenhouse together. Generators and thick cords lay in piles as they set up for the nursery. Water hoses and pipes diverted for the irrigation system, small as it was, that was also a need for the sprouts when they house them.
At the moment Kyouki needed a distraction, and planning was as good as any distraction. She had thought it through for who'll be where, and who'll be doing what. She called in her top three, and waiting for everyone to assemble.
