Shinobu and I walk to the mansion for a good while, about 5 minutes of silence. Until we hear Uzui and the other Hashiras chatting and catching up with each other.

"My buddy, Uzui! How're you doing?"

"I'm doing quite fine! You seem flamboyant as ever!"

The girl who very clearly loves him back blushes, her face redder than a baboon's ass. "AH! Thank you very much! You look lovely as well!" She takes a BIG whiff of the bouquet.

The latter tilts his head down and puts his hand behind his head in awkwardness.

Shinobu walks out from beside me and stands next to Giyuu and I just look around like the dumbass I am, not knowing what the hell to do. So I just... idk I guess stood next to Obanai at the end because I want to watch him and Mitsuri's horrible flirting.

All 10 hashiras, one retired, and the other, a reserve bowed to the entrance of the master on the engawa.

"Good morning, my children. My apologies for the sudden meeting notice." The well-respected leader of our organization steps out onto the shaded engawa. "Good morning, Oyakata-sama! You look as healthy as ever today! We will continue to pray for your well-being!" Mitsuri finally gets the honor of greeting the master and looks very proud of being able to do so.

"The reason why I gathered you all here today.." the master started, making all of us lean forward in anticipation. "Is to congratulate both Uzui and Togata for their victory against Uppermoon 6." A quiet round of applause fills the garden before the master continues.
"Uzui Tengen. On behalf of the Demon Slayer Corps, we all thank you for your continued service as a Hashira for several years. May your years of retirement be filled with peace and health."

"Not at all. Instead, I would like to thank the Corps for accepting and fostering me as a lost individual." The now-retired hashira looks down and smiles in gratitude.

"Togata." The master's voice made me look up in response. "You have proved yourself this past battle to be an official hashira, displaying these three qualities: perseverance, skill, and protection. Do you accept the title as the official Snow Hashira?"

Well.. fuck I guess I gotta now.

Bowing even lower with a determined voice, "Yes, it will be my honor to protect the innocent with my life."
