He needs you

Third Person POV.

Stefan Salvatore caught you're eye since the first time you meant him.

Sure enough you guys get together one day, you didn't think you'd ever be this lucky.

But things got difficult, you found out about vampires, werewolves, hybrids, heretics, hunters, originals. It took you time to process it all.

Then one day you became a vampire like Stefan.

Sure enough you thought things wouldn't get any harder, until one day he almost lost you.

Due to a hunter shooting you in the heart, you were almost dead.

"NO! No, no. Y/n!" Stefan screamed, he ran over to you and took the bullet out of you're chest but it was to late, you already look as if you're where dead.

You didn't think that you'd ever see this one person again.

While everyone was crying on the other side you where alone, there was a light that shown above you, then appeared you're mother.

You froze in your spot, you felt like you where going to cry.

"Mom, is it really you?" You asked, you walked closer to her but kept your distance.

"Its really me, my darling girl" You're mother said, you ran over to her hugging her, you didn't want to let go.

"Wait, how I am seeing you right now?" You asked, she held your hand and looked deep in your eyes.

"You're in the in-between.

You have a choice to stay with me or go back home to your lover and friends." Her mother said, she hated that they made her daughter choose between the most important people in her life.

"I can't choose between you and my family." You said, tears began to swell in your eyes.

Your mother held you closer to her chest.

It was like the time she held her close when everything go to much.

"It's okay.

You need to be with him.

He loves you." Your mother said, you shook you're head you didn't want to loose her again even if you didn't want to loose Stefan either.

"I can't, I don't want to leave you alone." You said, you held her tighter not wanting to let her go.

"My sweet girl, he needs his mate beside him.

You've helped him through more things than you know.

You can't leave him alone at this time." Your mother said, you still shook your head.

"Mom, I don't want to loose you again." You said, more tears feel down your face, but she wiped them away with her hand.

She looked at you in the eyes with her warm smile.

"I'll still be here when you come back, but for now he needs you Y/n." Your mother said, she showed you what was happening on the other side, Stefan was breaking down while trying to bring you back alive but nothing was working.

You felt your heart hurt for him.

"How long will it be until I see you again?" You asked, your mother walked over to you, hugging you.

"It will take time, but you have all the time you need." You're mother said, you both shared a one last hug after that you felt pain in you're chest.

Everything started to feel better than your eyes snapping open.

"Oh my god! You're alive..."Caroline said, everyone rushed by your side, Stefan didn't leave you're side.

Everyone stayed with you until they felt it was time for everyone to go home, Y/n stayed with Stefan.

"Please don't scare me ever like that again." Stefan said holding you're hand and looking at you.

With a loving, warm smile your mother once gave you.

"I will try not to." You said...

After that he did take care of her, he didn't care what other people said of them because they weren't important that found love like you did.
