Flashback ⏮️
Elena Gilbert and Stefan Salvatore seemed to have the most perfect relationship.
They looked madly in love with each other to anyone who saw the couple.
I was always jealous of their relationship, wanting someone to love me like that.
I quickly found out that their relationship wasn't perfect at all when Stefan kissed me at one of Tyler Lockwood's parties.
The loud music played while people danced, bodies everywhere.
I finally saw one my friends, Bonnie, and walked up to her with a smile.
"Crazy party right?" She yells over the loud music.
"Yeah! There's so many people here!" I shout back.
She laughs and gives me a cup, filled with some type of alcohol.
"Drink up girl!" She says as we both down our drinks at the same time.
Caroline Forbes walks over to us, a worried expression on her face.
"Bonnie can we talk in private?" She says, and Bonnie nods.
I watch as the two walk off, leaving me alone
"Hey you." A familiar voice says.
I turn to see Stefan, and I'm surprised that's he's talking to me.
"Hey Stefan." I say with a smile.
Stefan and I had always been friends, just stopped hanging out much since he started dating Elena.
"Do you wanna talk somewhere more quiet?" He says.
I nod, and follow him outside.
We walk out to the Lockwood's flower garden, and sit at one of the benches.
The cool air feels good on my face, and the quietness is soothing.
"Was there something you wanted to tell me?" I ask, looking at him.
"I just wanted to talk. We haven't really talked in forever." He says.
"Why is that by the way?" He asks.
"Well, ever since you and Elena started dating we stopped hanging out." I say, looking down at my feet.
"I'm sorry Y/N. I never meant to ignore you." He says. I look up at him, and give him a small smile.
"It's okay Stefan. Where is Elena anyways?" I ask. He sighs deeply, and looks down at his hands.
