Third Person's POV:
"And the first to return to the stadium is...Midoriya Izuku!" Present Mic exclaimed loudly as Izuku came out of the tunnel first.
The crowd clapped and cheered wildly as sparkling confetti rained down.
Izuku's eyes grew watery, but he wiped them with his arms, not wanting to cry in front of the whole world.
When forty five students had passed the finish line, Midnight stood on the mini podium and whipped her whip. "The first game of the first year stage is finally finished. Now, please view the results. The top forty five made it through the preliminary. Even if you didn't make it through, don't worry. You still have a chance to shine—!"
"M-Midnight sensei...!" Izuku timidly raised his hand, cutting her off.
"What is it, Midoriya?"
"W-Well, actually...I'm not the only one that finished first."
His words made the entire stadium utterly confuse.
Midnight's eyebrows furrowed. "What do you mean?"
A black furoshiki cloth wrapped over Izuku's shoulders and across his torso suddenly turned visible to the others. He quickly untied it and put it on the ground, revealing a sleeping grey wolf pup. The heroes that knew who it was sweat dropped at the sight while others still looked confused.
Izuku patted the wolf's head a few times to wake her up. She stretched a bit and—
POOF!
The wolf turned back into good old Yui.
...
...
...
"KUROKAMI YUI?!" the crowd yelled in shock.
"Izu, do me a favor!"
Izuku turned to look at Yui in confusion.
She gave him a wide black furoshiki cloth that came out of nowhere. "Could you put me in this cloth and tie it to your back?"
It took a few second for the green haired boy to realize what she meant. "O-Oh...you want me to carry you through the race?"
The girl nodded. "I won't slow you down. I can't tell you how, but I promise I won't hinder your movements. Heck...you won't even remember that I'm on your back."
In the end, Izuku agreed to carry her all the way towards the finish line.
Being one of the people who knew how lazy the girl could be, Midnight smiled. "Alright then. Kurokami Yui is tied in the first place along with Midoriya Izuku!"
Yui internally groaned. 'He just had to get the first place, huh? What a drag....'
Wait. So you actually didn't believe that he would win the first round? Yuu questioned her.
'I mean...I thought he would at least get the forty first place or something.'
...
...
...
How could you shamelessly say that you had no hope him?! You're unbelievable!
Yui didn't had the chance to reply when Midnight licked her lips in anticipation. "The real competition begins now! From here on out, the press will be excited! Do your best!"
The giant screen behind her began to select a new challenge. The R-Rated Hero grinned in delight. "Now, for the second game. Although I know what it is.... What could it be? What could it be?"
