Chapter 52

(My Hero Academia: Two Heroes)

Third Person's POV:

I-Island.

An artificial moving city that was inhabited by over 10.000 scientists and was created to be a place where the world's talents could gather, research quirks, and develop hero items. It was made mobile to protect the scientists and their research from villains. The security system was equivalent of Tartarus, and no villain has committed a crime here before.

Not to mention, I-Island was the home to the famous I-Expo, a city-wide event that showcased the results of various researches and developments.

Of course, everyone's favorite Number One Hero, All Might, was there with his precious student and successor, Midoriya Izuku.

Let's fast forward a bit, shall we?

Melissa Shield showed up and brought the duo to her father, David Shield, who was All Might's friend. Melissa and Izuku left the grown-ups to talk. Melissa showed Izuku around I-Expo. They then bumped into Momo, Kyoka, and Ochaco.

Melissa brought them all to a café where it turned out, their perverted friends Kaminari and Mineta were working as waiters. Iida soon came running towards the group.

And that was when everybody felt a short earthquake and decided to check it out.

"Clear time, 33 seconds! Eighth place!"

The screen showed a familiar red-haired boy.

"Kirishima?!" Izuku exclaimed.

"Deku, you know him?" Melissa asked in confusion.

"Yes, he's a classmate."

"Now the next challenger is—"

Once Izuku saw the next person, his face was filled with total shock. "K-Kacchan?"

Indeed, our main character's boyfriend, Bakugou Katsuki was also there, participating in that contest. And obviously, he did an amazing job at defeating all the villain robots in only 15 seconds, putting him in first place.

Katsuki let out a cocky huff as he landed back on the ground.

"Wait, isn't that Midoriya over there?" Kirishima pointed out.

Seeing his childhood friend there, Katsuki furiously leaped towards the rail. "Why the hell are you here?!"

Izuku quickly took a few steps back, giving him a nervous chuckle. "S-Stop that, Kacchan. People are watching—"

"So what?!" Katsuki cut him off.

Iida had to step in and calmed the raging boy down, though it was pointless.

Katsuki challenged— well, it was more like 'forced' Izuku to participate, and with Ochaco's encouragement, the boy decided to do his best. Using his quirk One For All, he defeated the villain robots in 16 seconds, putting him in second place.

"Man, you were so close!" Ochaco said.

Iida added, "I expected nothing less from you, Midoriya."

Izuku smiled at his friends. "I didn't expect to get so close to Kacchan's time—"

Once again, Katsuki yelled at the poor boy, "The hell?! That's impossible! I'll go again and blow you away—"

But his threats were cut off as another UA student made his appearance by finishing the challenge in 14 seconds, stealing the first place.
