XXXIV

It was around 8pm so I made sure to keep a knife by my bed as I changed into a nightie. I put my hair up into a messy bun then climbed into my new comfy bed. Man I'm still jealous, I'm in love with this home. I turned off the lamp before snuggling into the sheets once again and drifting off into sleep. At least that's what I wanted to do.

I felt weight hit my side of the bed but I haven't heard anything.. and the door was locked, so who got in and how they almost did not wake me up was running through my mind. The plan is to grab my knife and put it to their throats so they can't escape or they'll get cut. That's exactly what I did, I grabbed my knife and flipped to my side and on top of someone. I held the knife to their throat but I couldn't see who it was. I used my other hand to turn on the lamp and guess who was there.

My own boyfriend.

"How did someone so big get in without any noise?" I mumbled to myself as he put his hands behind his head.

Does he.. like this?

"If I didn't know any better, I'd say you like this." I commented, he smirked.

"I do, I know you won't kill me." Kid said, why did that kinda irritate me.

It's true but I don't like it when he knows it. I pushed the small dagger into his neck just barely to the point where it drew blood. I took away the knife and licked the blood off before throwing it behind me into the wall. Kid watched me in amusement as I stared at his neck.

"What? You're a vampire?" He teased, I rolled my eyes.

"You're a pain in my ass, y'know that?" I asked before licking the little bit of blood off his neck once again. 

"Bitter." I hummed knowing it would piss him off a little.

I heard footsteps down the hall so I turned off the lamp and held myself up on Kid's chest as I saw the shadow of feet dimly showing from the doorway.

I slid my hand down as I lifted myself up from Kid but he made sure I didn't get off of him by putting his own hands on my waist. I sighed and let hold me as I saw the shadow disappear, I wonder who it was. I looked down at Kid, I still can't see him.

"Let me do something. I'll come back." I whispered, he let out a small grunt before letting me go.

I slid off him and over the bed then felt my way over to the window and opened the curtains for the moonlight and lights of the golden city to shine on me. Little did I know Kid was watching me in the dark, he's like an owl, and was now staring at me. It wasn't bright but little bits of golden with the moonlight made it better to see. I opened the other curtain on the other wall then crawled on top of him again, his hands went to my waist again.

"If I knew any better, I'd say you like looking at me." He teased while sliding his hand to my ass before lifting me up. He sat up in a leaning position before placing me right back down onto his lap but his hand didn't move from my ass.

I leaned onto him, putting my arms around his neck and pulling him into a hug. The hand on my waist snaked around my waist into a tighter hug. I heard footsteps again which was weird, I was sure it was just the guards but still. He squeezed one of my ass cheeks, I sat up and pinched his cheek. I giggled but he soon put a finger to my mouth which told me to be quiet. I licked his finger which he soon removed it from my mouth in disgust and wiped it on my bed. I muffled my chuckle in my palm as the footsteps disappeared again.

"Think it might be one of Bege's men." I hummed silently, he gave me a 'are you dumb?' typa look.

I rolled my eyes as I put my hands on his cheeks.
