XLVIII

Christmas was right around the corner. No, literally, it's tomorrow.

Ever since Kid showed up, more gifts and letters had come in but I didn't look at any of them, not even the 10 pager he gave me a couple days ago. I've been going back to work for the past 2 days since he showed up, even though I'm not really in the right state of mind.. but I still push myself for my sister and for my family.

Ace showed up that next morning after my mental breakdown and comforted me, told me that I'd be okay and he would kill him once he saw him.. but I told him not to and to just calm down -- even though I was the one sobbing my eyes out about a boy.. again. But he still gave me a look so I didn't say anything more about it and instead just hung out with my brother.

But tonight was Christmas Eve and me and my sister always put a ton of presents underneath the tree, and since Lina was literally the sweetest Goddess this year, I got her more than like 70 things and wrapped them for the past two days. So I was ready.

And once it hit 12, I put everything downstairs and went to sleep. And, all week I was sure I would have to go to a ton of parties because of my family, so I had more in my closet for them. Sure it was a lot but being a billionaire helps a lot!

"Nior!"

"Ah! What!?"

"Good morning!"

"Oh jeez, you scared me."

I sighed in relief before rising and rubbing my fingers over my eyes. Luckily, last night was the only night I didn't dream of him.. but it was probably because Lina woke me up at 5am, so I only got 5 hours of sleep.

"Come on!" She says as I got out of bed in my cute pink pjs, a pink tank top and shorts that shows just a little bit of my belly at the bottom of the shirt and a lot of my thighs at the end of my shorts, but since it was cold, I wrapped a fluffy blanket around me and put on my slippers before following her downstairs.

"Merry Christmas!" She yells as I turn the corner into my living room to see all my brothers sitting there with a literal shit ton of presents underneath the Christmas tree.

"Holy shit."

"Hey big sis!" Luffy yells happily and I can't help but to smile and laugh when he tries to stand but Sabo is quicker to run over to me which causes Luffy to fall and get irritated.

"Hey sis! I'm glad to see you're okay. Merry Christmas." Sabo says as I give him a tight small hug.

"I'm always okay, Merry Christmas Sabo. I'm glad to see you again, finally!" I huff out and he smirks before he completely gets jumped by Luffy, but Ace takes his chance while he has it and comes over to give me a hug.

"Hey sis, glad to see you're better. You still look like shit." Ace says nonchalantly and I just roll my eyes, knowing he's gonna be a liar till the day he dies.

"Yeah yeah, Merry Christmas." I smile at him and hug him as well, then I move to Luffy who stands immediately when I turned to him, then he starts literally bawling his eyes out before hugging me.

"I missed you! Jaggy is a piece of crap for hurting you, I swear I'll beat his ass! I'm so happy you're okay! You were so scary when we were beating up that flamingo guy!" He cries out all at once and I sigh before hugging him back tightly while rubbing his head, like a mother would.

"It's okay, Luffy. I'm fine. Besides, it's Christmas. It'll be a new year, it's okay." I hum and he quickly stops crying and runs to the Christmas tree, talk about bipolar.
