One of my rare non-fish themed characters, Zhu Liu is Miao Cao's closest companion

He's suppose to be a tiger, or at least based on one. He's a humanoid, the markings on his face is suppose to resemble traditional Chinese theatre makeup.
The little 王 on his forehead is the character for "Wang", meaning King. It was common to depict this character on the heads of tigers in art I believe, because it is believed in traditional Chinese culture that tigers are the kings of the animal kingdom.
I drew Miao Cao as a little companion piece as well

Both of them are a little over five thousand years old, but Miao Cao is only ten years older than Zhu Liu. They met each other while they were still regular animals.
Both of these drawings are somewhat older, but not super old yet, so I decided to share them lol
