I've been drawing a lot recently and I wanted to have a little spot where I could post it. I draw mostly my own characters, and would love for you to peruse aha.

I've mentioned before that I want/plan on making a webcomic in the future, centred around the ocean and all that goes on in it. But I really don't practice drawing the actual environment enough; which is probably a bad thing.
So I'm gonna try and push myself to draw it more so that I can hopefully get faster at it, as this image took me about nine hours to finish ~_~;

I especially need to get better at drawing fish because I find them honestly kinda tricky atm. Coral reefs are so busy, so colourful, so full of visual information, it's gonna take a lot of practice to get good at depicting them; but we'll see how it goes.
The fish in this particular piece is a copperband butterfly, which are a particularly delightful and whimsical species of fish. They've got a certain quaint curiosity about them that makes them so charming to watch.
