"End me." Dahyun slumped in her seat. You blankly stared at the board written full of practice problems.
"Me too." You agreed.
Exams were in a few weeks, well technically about two months but with college applications hanging above your heads, the school decided to cut classes short by a couple of weeks to combine everything. So teachers were giving out reviews and asking students about college. This was a stressful period.
As you tried to figure out the practice problems for the rest of the period, the next teacher came in with a surprise. Sometimes during exam times, teachers brought a little snack for the class and you were glad it was a little snack. At least this teacher was very relaxed but taught the subject in a wonderful way that you were able to understand it easily.
The school day continued on and at last, it was after school. For a while, you chatted with your friend Dahyun and sat there to relax before going to study more. Once it was time to go, Dahyun and you packed up everything and headed out. This time, you two needed to go to the study hall where you get to study more. Yay!
Your day has been busy so far and all you want to do is go home and sleep. Well, maybe squeeze in some reading and games... Dahyun and you spent a few hours at the study hall and were now on the train ride home. It was already evening and you could also see the tiredness of some other high school students who were also riding the train this late. As you two talked about some pictures Dahyun was showing you of her new desk setup (which was nice, you weren't going to lie), the train slowed down to a stop to let in more people. Ugh, and you hated them off the bat.
It was a group of loud high school boys.
You were tired and trying to hear Dahyun talk but you just couldn't. You glared over to them to see them wearing different high school uniforms. They were annoying. Still, you had no energy to deal with them so Dahyun and you stood up to move a few seats down. At least it was a little quieter over here. At last, the train came to another stop, specifically the one you and Dahyun need to get off at. The two of you did and ugh, the annoying group as well. They seemed to be going in the same direction as you two until they stopped at a nearby convenience store. Good riddance. Sadly, your friend didn't live on the same block as you so you had to part ways. You quickly went home, ready to relax after a stressful day.
This was your same routine for the rest of the week. Even up to the point where the annoying group of boys got on the train. You wished that they would take a different train. Though you guess something out of the routine happened. Exactly on time, the group of boys got on the train and as soon as the doors started to close, another figure rushed in. The group loudly exclaimed in happiness. "Taehyung, you're back!"
You glanced to see the new one be tossed around like he was a ball. You rolled your eyes. Great. Another one so that they can be even louder. Still, you did the routine like it was any other day. Ignoring them. You just weren't prepared for what happened next week.
"Hey, did you hear about the transfer student?" Rose, the class president, asked Dahyun and you.
"Transfer student?" Dahyun echoed your question. You blinked at the news. That was strange. Usually, there would be no one that would transfer this late into the year. It was weird and admittedly, you were slightly curious.
Rose nodded. "This morning when I went into the teacher's lounge, I heard some of the teachers discussing it. They said that he's also in his third year like us." She explained.
"This late in the year?" You questioned which Rose shrugs her shoulders. The bell rang and that made everyone go back to their seats. A few moments later, your homeroom teacher came in and with them was a student trailing behind.
