"Reduced...?" Taehyung whispers to himself.
After the whole...incident. Taehyung found himself in prison. Tried as an adult, this is where he ended up at. Charged with aggravated kidnapping earned him five years in prison. But now he's hearing that his sentence has been reduced.
By who though?
Taehyung spots an older gentleman who he has never seen before on the other side of the glass. He sits down and picks up the phone to talk to him.
"Good day, I work with the Eatery & Things Company. How are you doing today?" The older man begins.
Taehyung narrows his eyes. "Who are you? And why help me out?"
The older man gently smiles. "I've been sent to negotiate your time here. My boss wants to meet with you."
"Boss?" Taehyung tilts his head. "Who?"
"In due time." The older man continues. "Showing up here wouldn't make good press, you see. Once you're out of here, you are to come with me."
"Why would I?"
"You have no family, right? No friends?" The man says. "Ever since you kidnapped this Y/N, you have been turned on."
Taehyung smacks his hand against the glass. Eyes burning with anger. "Keep her name out of your fucking mouth."
The man nods. "I see. Still, my boss wants to meet up with you. He has the same..." He seems hesitant to continue. "Ideals as you. He also had a special person but they're gone now. He wants to talk to you and others about these ideals."
"Others?"
"Yes, people who have these ideals about their soulmates." The man can see Taehyung is now interested. "Will you come with me once you're out of here?"
Taehyung leans back in his chair. Ideals, huh? He wonders if they all had their special someone. Would he... find another special someone like you? Maybe he will in the future. "I will."
Both of them acknowledge each other with faint smiles. Taehyung will meet these people once he gets out of here. There's something not clicking in his mind of how these connections are popping up.
Or how when he meets this group of people, they will find someone special.
