Gon quickly stood up from the hit, but it was too late. The referee began to speak, signaling the end of the fight with a few simple words.
"And that's another knockdown and a clean hit. Two more points awarded! Eleven to four!"
Gon looked at the referee in disbelief, and then moved his eyes to Hisoka in complete shock.
"The winner by TKO is...Hisoka!"
Loud cheering began, surrounding the arena in a deafening sound. People cheered both for Hisoka in his win, but also for Gon for his attempts. It was a brutal battle, but the outcome was something that anyone could have predicted. Lilah and Killua were both extremely relieved as the fight had ended, and let out heavy sighs. They were proud of Gon for trying his best, but they were also so happy that it was over. A little bit longer, and Gon would have suffered some life-altering injuries. And that was a known fact.
Killua stared at Hisoka as he talked with Gon, but didn't bother to tell Lilah. She had already figured out how the aura had gotten on the rock, and she didn't need to be reminded. Instead, she crossed one leg over the other, a gentle smile on her lips. Hisoka was now walking out of the ring, still casually speaking to Gon.
"Thank god it's over," he said in relief. "I thought Gon would actually behave recklessly there and get himself even more hurt than he already was."
Lilah laughed at his words, looking up at the screen near the entrance where Hisoka had emerged from, still completely damaged. It displayed his face with the word "winner" on it, and she smiled softly. Gon was still on the floor, contemplating some things to himself. Killua sighed as he stood up from his seat, Lilah following. Many people had already left, so they were one of the hundreds to leave the stadium.
"This victory makes ten wins for Hisoka, and earns him the right to challenge a Floor Master. Gon fought bravely, and we wish him luck in his next match. Well, that's all for now, folks! This is your commentator, Cocco, signing off!"
They were now outside of the arena, and making their way to Gon, who was in his waiting room on the left side of the ring. They walked in silence, their faces in a neutral position. Lilah sighed heavily as they approached the area where Gon was, and Killua sent her a confused look.
"Hey, what's up?" He asked, a bit worried.
"Well, wasn't the whole point of coming to Heavens Arena for Gon? I remember you said something about him wanting revenge on what Hisoka did during the Hunter Exam, and now that it's all over..."
Killua sighed, looking to the door where Gon was going to emerge from. "DJ."
She looked up at him with a frown.
"Cheer up, okay? You should be happy we're finally getting out of your face. Plus, what if Gon decides to stay here a bit longer? I'll follow where he leads. There's nothing more for me to do, anyway."
Lilah's face turned a bit happier, a smile appearing on her lips.
Gon marched through the doors, still looking as bruised as ever. Killua turned around to see him, a grin appearing on his face. Lilah just continued smiling, waving over at the boy.
"Nice job out there. You really paid him back good," Killua congratulated, a sneer appearing on his face. "I bet I could have done it better," he snickered, making Gon huff. He chased Killua around as he laughed, making Lilah giggle at their cute antics.
They slowed down and joined her as they walked back to the hospital wing, both to drop off Lilah, and get some of Gon's injuries patched up. There weren't too many bad ones, but some bandages around his body wounds would prove to be helpful.
