"Well, don't overdo it, alright? You've only been resting for eight days, so don't expect everything to function like brand new. Now, right after you're finished watching the match, come right back here."
Lilah nodded at the doctor, who was still hesitating to letting her go to Gon and Hisoka's match.
"Alright, thanks. I'll be very cautious, don't worry," she reassured, putting the doctor at ease.
She waved to the nurses in the room, and left with a smile on her face. She was permitted to go to see Hisoka and Gon's match, and she couldn't have been happier.
Killua was waiting outside the hospital wing with her ticket, and grinned as he saw her.
"Let's go! I still wanna grab some snacks before the match starts."
Lilah agreed, and followed Killua to the elevator, riding in it with him to Gon's arena's floor.
Killua was in a black turtleneck and blue jeans, while Lilah was in a tight black long-sleeved shirt and gray sweatpants. Her hair was back in a messy high ponytail, with her bangs hanging above her eyebrows and at the sides of her face.
They made their way to the arena doors, showing the tickets and seat numbers to the scanner. She allowed them to pass, telling them what section their seats were in. They managed to get good seats with a great view of the ring. Killua made an effort to get her to the chairs as fast as possible since many people stared at her uncomfortably and suspiciously.
They sat down in silence, and Killua grabbed the bag of popcorn from Lilah's hands.
"Hello everyone! In the Arena today, we have a match between Gon and Hisoka! The battle you've all been waiting for is about to begin, and as you can see, the stands are packed!"
Came the familiar voice of Cocco, who was introducing the day's match.
Her eyes drifted to the ring, which was still empty. She was obviously cheering for Gon, but was still going to give Hisoka praise if he did come out on top. Killua had explained to her that the two had a history during the Hunter Exam, which she was already aware of.
She didn't question it, however, because as Killua finished explaining, the entire arena went dark. People began to murmur, and cheers slowly built up around the arena in a steady chant.
Lilah looked around the darkness, seeing a flicker of light beginning to be lit in a digital form. It roared into orange fire on the left side of the Arena, flaring up like a cannon. She saw a large smokescreen and flashing lights reveal Gon, who had a determined look on his face.
"The first to arrive is Gon! After four fights, he has a three-one record. He's really on a roll!"
Killua smiled as he began to march down the walkway, his face not changing positions. Lilah grinned at him, her excitement turning into happiness in less than a few seconds. The tension before her eyes was making this battle seem like something out of a movie, and she was almost on the edge of her seat as the announcer continued talking.
As she watched Gon walk, she turned her attention to the right side of the arena, where blue flames emerged in a steady stream, making even more people cheer louder than ever before.
"And next, arriving in the arena with a fiery display...Is Hisoka!"
Lilah's eyes followed the smoke being cast, more flashing lights shining on the spot where he would emerge from. A smile appeared on her lips as his face became visible, and she couldn't resist but clap. Killua smirked at her, and she quickly stopped, noticing how red she was becoming. Killua cackled as she stole the bag of popcorn from him, eating her heavy feelings away.
