Hisoka left the ring at a marching pace, leaving everyone utterly confused. Lilah, however, had just figured it out by testing a prediction she made near the beginning of the match. She realized that this was Hisoka and not some strategist who would play by the rules and make up a plan way ahead.

Using Gyo, she knew exactly what he was doing. If anyone activated that form of Nen, they would have noticed that he had been using his aura to accomplish all these "magical" feats. His Bungee Gum from before was something she recognized, but there was one more thing that threw her off. He had another ability, something she hadn't seen before. It was definitely part of the scarf when his arm reappeared, and she was curious to find out exactly what it was.

Killua stood up from his seat, Lilah still sitting. He looked down at her, placing his hands behind his head. "Ready to go?"

Lilah snapped back into reality and nodded. "Yeah. Let's head back."

They walked down the aisle, overhearing murmurs and astonished gasps from all the onlookers around them, talking about what they had just witnessed. Killua was silent, giving Lilah a slight irk.

She placed a hand on his shoulder as they left the arena. "You doing alright Kill? You're never this quiet."

"I'm fine. Just thinking about what we just watched."

She laughed slightly. "Yeah, what a match, huh?"

She wanted to walk Killua back to his room before going to see Hisoka, so she had some time to prepare for all the questions she had for him. Each one swirled in her head, unanswered and filled with curiosity.

They stepped into the elevator, Lilah pressing the 200th floor button. It was a silent ride, Killua still deep in thought. He seemed a bit disturbed, which made Lilah look at him apprehensively.

"Kill."

"Mm." He responded in a hum, not paying attention to her at all.

She sighed and swatted her hand in the air. "Forget it, it's not important."

The elevator reached the floor, and the two walked to Gon's room. Killua opened the door with a sigh, only to see the green-haired boy on the couch, practicing his Ten. Lilah leaned casually on the open doorframe, watching Killua walk in, completely emotionless. Gon's head perked up as he saw him, and curiosity streaked onto his positive face.

"Killua! So how was Hisoka's fight? Tell me!"

Killua mindlessly walked past him, hands in his pockets. "Boring. Don't worry, you didn't miss much."

Lilah sighed at the door, and gently closed it. There was no need for her to be here anymore. The two just needed each other right now, and she needed to be somewhere else.

With a click of the handle, she walked away. Pulling out Hisoka's card, she flipped it around to see his room number scribbled on the edge of it. With a content smile, she tucked it into her boot.

"Lilah? Hey, where are you headed?"

She froze and turned around to meet Killua's gaze. "I'm going to see someone, I'll be back in a bit."

"Oh okay. Gon wants to eat out today, so is it cool if we go to one of the restaurants downtown?"

She nodded with a smile. "That sounds great. I'll be back in a half hour or so."

Killua gave her a thumbs up and disappeared into the room, the door closing behind him.

She aimlessly walked away, staring at the floor with a heavy heart. It was rather quiet, and she didn't even notice when she accidentally brushed shoulders with someone walking past her.
