Everyone called Yukari's big blind at 50,000 making the pot the total sum of 200,000 Jenny.
The dealer slid 3 cards in front of him, face down. Before he flipped them over, his eyes watched the smirk of the greedy-looking man to Lilah's right.
"Hey, sweetheart," he flirted, catching her attention.
"Yes?" She calmly responded, making Yukari eye the two curiously.
"I say we make a bet before we throw in some more cash, huh?"
"What did you have in mind?" Lilah asked, not returning his ghastly eye contact.
A wide grin spread on his face, and he pointed towards himself.
"If I end up winning the lot, you'll be spending the night in my room."
Her body stiffened up. "And if I win?"
"Let's say...I'll give you an extra 50 mil' if you manage to make me go bankrupt. Sound good?" He sneered. No way in hell is she winning this.
"Sounds exciting." She clasped her hands together, a newfound joy in a double wager now in her sights. "I'll be sure to hold you to your word!"
The man chuckled heartily and twisted his face into a grotesque smile.
Yukari's blank stare went unnoticed, her eyes quickly glancing down at her two cards with a grit of her teeth. Her gaze wandered over to Lilah, trying to pry her for any sort of emotional or physical reaction.
"Ms Delilah, if you please."
Lilah placed two green chips in front of her stack.
The man who sat on Yukari's right swallowed, looking back at his cards. He nervously darted his vision around the table and only caught Joe's stone-cold stare. Yukari wore a bright smile, clapping her hands in a rhythmic beat.
"What a start! Let's keep it going, shall we?"
The woman placed 4 green chips in, matching Lilah's 2 million Jenny bet.
The two men placed their amounts in as well, not wanting to push the pot any higher.
The dealer collected their sum and quickly flipped over the fourth card.
Instantly, the young man next to Yukari cursed under his breath. Lilah stayed composed, her heart thudding gently against her ribcage.
"Begin."
The nervous man swallowed, took a look at his cards, his chips, the flop, and then sighed. With a shake of his head, he slid his cards towards the dealer. "Fold," he dejectedly said, losing all the money he had put in.
The turn was then in the pervert's call, who let out a scoff. "What a fuckin' coward. Can't even stay in a whole round, can ya?"
The young man adjusted his glasses in shame and sunk back in his seat.
"You lot play like fucking pussies! Let's spice it up a bit," he chortled, throwing in 4 black chips.
Lilah immediately followed with a call, not even giving the man beside her a chance to spout any more nonsense in her face. Her chips hit the table mere seconds after he placed his bet.
Yukari was next, but unexpectedly let out a sigh. She analyzed the flop and then shifted her focus to Lilah.
"Fold!" she singsonged, throwing her cards to the dealer, accidentally flipping them right side up.
They read 7-2, and Lilah grimaced. Poor girl had been dealt the worst hand in the whole game.
The pervert just chortled at Yukari's early pull out of the game, gritting his teeth in arrogance.
