The articles have been endless since it was announced that they would perform at the Super Bowl and the reactions were very mixed. Fans were very happy and excited for Blackpink who were achieving a massive milestone. Even non-fans were giving positive feedback to the news because there would finally be Asian representation in the West. But where there is good, there is always bad. On the other side of the responses, many people didn't like any aspect of the news. The domestic audience was disappointed by the choice of group. People felt like Blackpink would only embarrass their home country and the kpop community.
"What are you guys looking at?" Yuna jumped onto the bed where Hana, Sol, and Lisa were all gathered around a laptop.
"No one wants to see us perform at the Super Bowl," Sol said disappointed. "Jesus, Sol," Lisa lightly pushed her. "Don't say that. We have so many people supporting us, you can't honestly let a couple of articles overshadow all of that."
"Let me see that," Hana handed Yuna the laptop.
Yuna scrolled through the list of articles. She laughed in amusement seeing the number of Korean news reporters and influencers giving their take on the announcement. "This asshole again?" She made a disgusted face seeing a Youtuber who is known to always bash on Blackpink.
"Who?" Lisa asked. Yuna turned the screen to them. "Oh, him," Hana also looked disgusted.
"He said we're going to make Koreans look like a bunch of pussies," Yuna said. "He always has something to say with his bitch ass. He's so fucking irritating," Yuna returned the laptop. She calmed herself down and got back to the reason she came to them. "I was just coming to get you guys. It's almost time to go."
