As of the 1st of November, a company was formed under YG Entertainment with the BLACKPINK members Hana and Sol for film productions.

The company, YGH Studios, was officially introduced on November 7th with BLACKPINK's Hana as its CEO. Both Hana and Sol started to build the company earlier this year, investing their own money. It is reported that Sol put ₩194 billion won ($150 million dollars) into the company and Hana put in over ₩971 billion won ($750 million dollars). It is also speculated that other members of BLACKPINK and artists from YG Entertainment have also invested in the company.
With the information given, it seems that the company was created to help manage YG Stage actors and enter the film industry.
They plan to release projects very soon in animation, movies, series, short films, and more.
