Yuna and Sol were excited to go around Cannes for a few hours. They were going to be in the city for a week and it would just be a waste to not take any time to roam around. While Sol has been to the city before, Yuna hadn't so they were first going to spots that Sol wanted to show her.
When they got into the elevator, Yuna asked Sol what places they were going to first. Since they hadn't eaten yet, the first spot they were going to is a bakery with the most delicious pastries and drinks. When describing the food she had eaten when she last visited the place, Yuna's mouth began to water.
They sat on some couches in the lobby waiting for a car they had called. Sol's phone began to ring and she quickly excused herself to take the call not too far away. Across the lobby, Charles Leclerc had spotted Yuna sitting alone with her legs crossed and scrolling through her phone.
To say this was a beautiful woman would do injustice to her beauty. Charles wasn't looking directly at her but he pretended to be looking around to catch as many glimpses of her as he could. I have to talk to her, he thought.
He fixed his posture and began making his way to Yuna. Midway he slowed down his steps when he saw Sol walking up to her. They exchanged a few words and then got their things to head out. When they walked past him, he felt the cold air with the scent of her perfume. Charles got to look into Yuna's eyes but she didn't even glance at him. He didn't know who she was, but he was aware of who Sol was and wondered if he could see Yuna again through her and find out who she was.
"Who was it?" Yuna asked when they got in the car. "My manager. I need to go back to China on the seventeenth for filming," Sol sulked. She had hoped to spend the whole week in Cannes for the film festival but her team was using any possible day Sol had free to finish filming "Better Days".
