Hi guys. How are you? I hope you're doing well.

For this chapter, I initially thought of writing about BTS only. However, for the sake of continuity, I'm including the week update/ weekly rant as briefly as possible.

Week: 11th June to 17th June 2023

In the last chapter, I mentioned about renovations. So, as of now, house renovation is going "smoothly" yet messy. I'll leave you with that. 

Anyways, this week was special. This month is special. 10 years ago, on 13th June 2013, BTS or Bangtan Sonyeondan, made their debut as South Korean Boyband with 7 members, i.e. RM, Jin, Suga, Jhope, Jimin, V & Jungkook, under a small company Big Hit Entertainment. This year BTS & ARMY celebrated 10th Anniversary together. Yesterday Fireworks Show was held at Yeouido Hangang Park, Seoul for the same. Starting with heartwarming Mikrocosmos, to making emotional with Spring Day, to setting the foundation of "Chapter Two" with Take Two, everything summed up beautifully. Thank you so much BTS. Thank you for everything💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 I hope Jin & Jhope got to see this beautiful show while being in the military. I hope Suga, RM, Jimin, V, Jungkook also watched the Fireworks Show alongside with ARMYs. And lastly, fellow ARMY Nia & other ARMYs collaborated to make a song "Love Letters" as a tribute to BTS. And Jimin reacted to it in his recent live & he liked it😭😭😭 (pardon me for my stan twt emoji behaviour). 

This week, however, has a heart-breaking day; on 14th June 2020, Bollywood Actor Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his home, hanging from ceiling fan. RIP Sushant. I hope you're happy and at peace wherever you are.

And now coming to the title. In previous chapters, I've already mentioned myself as ARMY aka BTS fan. In this chapter, I'll be telling you guys how that came to be.

As I'm on stan twt for more than 2 years, I've heard many ARMY stories about how they got into BTS & its fandom. Most of them start like, I saw their so-and-so song. I just wanted to know their names. Then I binged watched their MVs, interviews, Run BTS episodes and... now I'm into the fandom. In other words, this is very linear and straightforward. 

In fact, my sister became ARMY in somewhat similar way. In 2019, she watched Boy with Luv Dance Practice and "Things you didn't notice" of the said video on YouTube. She binge watched multiple videos of them in one day. She became fan of BTS aka ARMY; but still keeping her distance from stan twt.

My story, however, isn't linear like that. For context, I didn't like men (still not fond of them) from my teens; I only watched & listened to music from languages I understand; and most important, I would simp for an Anime Character than an actual human being.

In 2014, I passed the HS Exam, which means, Highschool chapter ends, and College chapter is about to begin. Based on my obtained marks and little news from my senior, Piya (not her real name tho), I went to Sarojini Naidu College and pursed Computer Application as Major for 3 yrs. The day I went there for my admission, I saw a black t-shirt with 7 boys (seemed similar age as mine) printed on it. I saw that exact t-shirt in my dream, thinking that "there's NO WAY I'll be seeing a boyband t-shirt in my close radar." But I was wrong.

Fast forward to one month later, I found a classmate, Ari (again not her real name), having similar interests as me, i.e. Anime & learning Japanese. One day I saw her listening to music, thought that she's listening to Japanese music. But in reality, she was listening one of BTS's songs. At first, I said "Oh. They are *****, right?"(God I'm sooo embarrassed rn) She gave me a HUGE side-eye and said, "No! They are BTS or Bangtan Sonyeondan."

"Really? I thought...", then I explained why I mistook them as the other band and she replied, "Thank God, you're not Twitter!"

Then she double-checked, "Are you sure there were only 7 & not more?"
