Hi guys. I hope you're doing well.
Today I'll just talk. No current affairs. No weather report.
So, yesterday was Kajagori Lakshmi Pujo aka Worshipping Goddess Lakshmi. Well, in West Bengal, from late September to late November, this worshipping festival is celebrated.
In Kolkata & in downtowns, Goddess Durga is worshipped as a Grand Celebration. In Barasat region, Goddess Kali is worshipped as a Grand Celebration; its during the Diwali. Lastly, in Nadia, Naihati, Goddess Jaddhatri is worshipped as a Grand Celebration; its usually after Kali Pujo and alongside with Chhat Puja.
One of the biggest criticism Hindu Festival get is that people are messy, can't keep the water-bodies clean, often times the mess is too much to deal with & so on.
I won't rant here btw. There's much to say about this.
And as for the Israel-Palestine War, dear Reader, I request you look into credible new sources to form your opinion & keep them in your prayers.
Sorry, it that was too heavy. Now, let's talk about 2020. I may have said this before. But I'm a broken-record. So here we go again.
In 2020, I was getting into spirituality and Tarot cards & stuff. The tarot readers I watched, had many decks & made some homemade decks for themselves. I thought, "maybe I can make my own decks💡" (Spoiler: it didn't go as expected, duh)
I was actually collecting some medicine cardboard boxes for making playing card deck. So, I thought, it'll be easy. But it's not.
Few things that made the process extremely overwhelming are hoarding mentality, perfectionism & not-wasting mindset.
Hoarding mentality is always hungry, anxious and unsatisfied. I was hoarding things thinking, "what if I need this later on, what if I keep this, it seems useful" you get the point.
Perfectionism is "I want this aesthetically pleasing, not for others, at least for myself."
Not-wasting mindset is simple as "I won't waste any scrap paper, not even a 1 mm of paper" to "I won't throw away or sale away old notebooks coz I don't people to learn about my embarrassing sh!t" or complex as "I don't want people to know about my ideas & profit out of it."
So stupid, I know! But yesterday I have finally grouped all of those "wannabe cards". So, one whole year's worth of burden is off of my shoulders rn.
Now there's one deck that I've to print out in 2 days. Ik, I change the deadline, its personal project after all. But there always be expectations🙃
A little message for myself & to you, dear Reader,
I'm proud of you. Do you realize how strong you are? You know what's really going on. You know how much hard that was. Yet... you did it❤ You've exceeded all expectations.
Hey, you did better today and tomorrow you'll do your best. And it'll be far better than today❤________________________________________________________________________________

Ik, I said "no current affairs" in beginning. But I do wanna add some news of that time.
So, last year, on 29th October, in Andhra Pradesh's Vizianagaram district, at around 7:10 pm, the Visakhapatnam-Rayagada passenger special rammed into the Visakhapatnam-Palasa passenger train. According to Hindustan Times, at least 13 people died, and 54 others were injured due to the collision.
The article further states, "The Indian Railways has cited human error as the possible cause of the Rayagada-bound train having likely. According to officials, the Vishakhapatnam-Palasa train was waiting on the track between Alamanda and Kantakpalli railway stations of the Kothavalasa block when the collision took place.
The accident caused four bogies of the second train to derail onto the adjacent track. Videos shared on social media showed multiple mangled coaches in pitch-dark conditions.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, who has announced an ex gratia of ₹10 lakh to each of the kin of those killed and ₹2 lakh to the injured, will visit the accident site today."
To know further, I would encourage you to read "The Hindustan Times" article on this incident.
This incident was the biggest rail accident after the Balasore rail accident. Yet I came to know about this incident after 3 months! And when it came, I didn't know how to address it. I never expected this to happen after what happened in Balasore. But here we are.For the lives we lost, may their souls rest in peace and my condolences to their family, friends and loved ones.
That's it for today.
Take care.
Bye.
