Hi guys. I hope you're doing well.

I was busy lately for plethora of reasons, one of them is finding a new job.

As I mentioned in the last chapter, I got a new job and joined it from 1st Aug. Everything was going well... sort of. Few things that really bothered me about the job, 1st was "unclear job instructions", e.g. I expected to get all info from my boss, but later realized that Bose was giving half info & expected me to get the other half from the staff head (He never explicitly said this from day one or maybe I'm just dumb) which triggers my social anxiety; 2nd was "noises from machines", Ik it's a factory & can't get help on that one; the last point was "an unsettling feeling" I had there, as if it was telling me something bad gonna happen.

After 4 days of working there, I was crying to myself saying, "why the hell am I doing this job? why I came here? I should've stuck to my previous low paying job..." But one was certain, I can't bear to go there another day.

So, I constantly tried to reach my boss over phone, all in vain. Next morning, when I called him saying that I can't continue, he got angry, obviously. One thing he accused me was why I didn't quit on Day-1. And me quitting on Day-4, is detrimental for the company. Later that day, the middle-man who gave news of this job offer, called me, expressed his disappointment & then blocked me.

One good thing happened though. I started to apply jobs online which I thought I can't get one. I went for an interview & got rejected 😢 But hopefully I'll get one soon.

This all happened before 9th August 2024. Around this time, on 5th Aug, Sheikh Hasina resigned as Bangladesh's prime minister and fled the country. Thousands of people entered Ganabhaban, where Bangladesh's ex-PM resided. According to newagebd.net, "protesters on Monday defied security forces enforcing a curfew, marching on the capital's streets after the deadliest day of unrest since demonstrations erupted last month.

Internet access was tightly restricted on Monday, offices were closed and more than 3,500 factories servicing Bangladesh's economically vital garment industry were shut.

Soldiers and police with armoured vehicles in Dhaka had barricaded routes to Hasina's office with barbed wire, AFP reporters said, but vast crowds flooded the streets, tearing down barriers.

The Business Standard newspaper estimated as many as 400,000 protesters were on the streets but it was impossible to verify the figure.

At least 94 people were killed on Sunday, including 14 police officers.

Protesters and government supporters countrywide battled each other with sticks and knives, and security forces opened fire.

The day's violence took the total number of people killed since protests began in early July to at least 300, according to an AFP tally based on police, government officials and doctors at hospitals.

Protesters in Dhaka on Sunday were seen climbing a statue of Hasina's father Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the country's independence leader, and smashing it with hammers, according to videos on social media verified by AFP."

Also, there were many videos circulating from Bangladesh, showing attacks on the minority (especially Hindus). Some were true, but most of it was misinformation, e.g. a video went viral where a house was being burnt down, claiming the house was of cricketer Litton Das. But in reality, that house was former cricketer Mashrafe Mortaza's house.

In Bangladesh, many people from Muslim community, stood strong & protected the temples, churches & pagodas, which is commendable. But there are instances where people from minority were attacked. So much so, these people came to India-Bangladesh border at Jalpaiguri, saying that they would rather take bullet from BSF (Indian Army) than go back "home" only to get tortured by Islamists.

All of this was happening alongside the Olympics 2024. But something was about to take place.

On 9th Aug, 31 years-old PG doctor was brutally r*ped and m*rdered while she was in 36-hours duty. She went to the seminal hall at 2 am to take rest. And that was the last time she was seen alive. Next morning, on 10th Aug, her body was found half-n*ked, bleeding from her eyes, private part. Her parents were informed that she committed su!c!de and weren't even allowed see her dead body. The victim's body was cremated as soon as the post-mortem was completed. The crime scene was demolished, in the name of "renovation", before the investigation team got there.

After this very incident, multiple r*pe cases were reported from across the country. Since that day, everyone is protesting, raising their voice for women safety.

Did you know that CM Mamata Banerjee also went on a protest rally? I don't know who she's protesting against? Herself? She is Chief Minister, Home Minister & Health Minister of West Bengal. Then, who she is protesting against?

Amidst all of it, Tripura & parts of Bangladesh are facing huge flood. According to HindustanTimes, "Landslides occurred in 2,032 locations, of which 1.789 areas have been cleared and restoration work is on in other places. The water level of rivers in six locations is flowing above the danger mark in Dhalai, Khowai, South Tripura, West Tripura, North Tripura and Unakoti districts."

According to The Economic Times, "At least 20 people have died and more than 5.2 million have been affected in Bangladesh by floods caused by relentless monsoon rains and overflowing rivers, officials said on Sunday.

The floodwaters have left many people isolated and in urgent need of food, clean water, medicine, and dry clothes, particularly in remote areas where blocked roads have hampered rescue and relief efforts."

On the Bangladesh's side, "India deliberately caused this flood" is going. Yesterday I saw my moot on Insta was sharing "BoycottIndia" hashtag. I'm disappointed & don't know what can be done here.

Lastly, Suga's DUI case. Initially, Suga & Bighit both said that he was riding an electric kickboard on the sidewalk while being drunk. From the intial, unclear CCTV footage, K-media was constantly dehumanizing Suga & spreading misinformation, claiming that he was riding an electric scooter, on the road, while being drunk.

Next CCTV footage got released to the public where Suga was seen riding an electric kickboard on the sidewalk, on his way home. At a sharp turn, he fell on the ground where patrolling police found him, tested how much intoxicated he was, etc. Bottomline, Suga was telling the truth all along.

Suga posted another apology letter to ARMYs on weverse. He said he was riding a scooter that day. I believe he's being pressured to say that. But regardless, after reading his apology letter today, I fear that he might leave BTS or something worse gonna happen. I know Suga is strong & he won't harm himself. But if... something happens to him, will the media take responsibility or another Lee Sun-kyun is around the corner?

I'll be stupid if I said this on weverse, but I'm writing it here. Can Suga leave SK for good? This country doesn't deserve him. Its people don't deserve him. He doesn't deserve this treatment from his countrymen at all.

I swear if any of my fears came true about Yoongi, I'll become the Biggest Anti of SK. I promise.
