Thank you for reading! I don't own any of Wednesday! Please let me know if you enjoy! Updates every Saturday!
—————————————————————Much to Wednesday's displeasure, a simple letter addressed to Enid had quickly resulted in a visit from Enid.
The two women sat in Wednesday's bedroom chatting after Lurch graciously escorted the family's visitor up the mansion's winding staircase lined with deep, rich, red velvet.
"This is so exciting!" Enid squealed as she sat on the bed next to Wednesday, "How awesome is it that we'll be going back to Nevermore......together?! Maybe they'll even let us be roommates again for the weekend!"
".........Why were you nominated for an award?" Wednesday scowled.
Her rude question was a legitimate albeit tactless inquiry.
After graduation, Enid had married her boyfriend, Ajax Petropolus, and had spent the last five years as a housewife who enjoyed roaming through the woods during full moons.
"Oh, I wasn't nominated for an award!" Enid laughed, "Ajax was."
"........Why?" Wednesday asked.
"For his work." Enid blinked, "Remember I told you he's formed the first Petrification Unit with a few other gorgons? The police may use them from time to time, doctors might too, they're excited about how they can help people......Wednesday," Enid laughed, "You do realize other people have been nominated besides you and Xavier, right?"
Wednesday scowled at her friend, "......You could have mentioned all this in a reply letter. Rushing over was unnecessary."
"I wonder if our window's still there?!" Enid squealed as an excited, hopeful smile spread across her face.
"It still doesn't take much to excite you, does it?" Wednesday frowned.
"Don't worry, Wednesday!" Enid promised as she stood to leave, "I'll make sure you have fun!.......Whether you want to or not!"
Enid's pledge to show Wednesday a good time may as well have been a death threat.
With an exaggerated sigh, Wednesday crossed her arms as she sat on her bed and narrowed her dark eyes.

As Enid descended the grand staircase in the Addams family's elegant, gothic house, she remained blissfully unaware that Morticia waited for her in the shadows.
Her foot had barely touched the last step before Wednesday's mother rushed out in front of her like a beautiful wraith with her long, black hair hanging down to her waist and her dark lips twisted into a gleeful grin, "Enid, darling, so good of you to come and see us this morning."
"M-Mrs. Addams!" Enid stuttered, taken by surprise. She slapped a smile on her face as she nodded and said, "Yeah, Wednesday and I were just talking!.......I'm actually on my way out."
"......Leaving so soon?" Morticia asked with a pout, "I had hoped that you and I could have a little chat before you left."
"..........A chat?" Enid blinked.
"Won't you come with me for a moment?" Mortification frowned.
"Um.......Sure, Mrs. Addams." Enid shrugged.
Morticia flashed Enid a little smile before she nodded, turned, and led the way down the winding corridor into the bedchamber she shared with Gomez.
Enid stood a short distance back as Morticia opened a nightstand drawer, pulled a lever, and watched the bookcase next to the closet open itself to reveal a secret passage.
