"Hope is gonna be mad with this plan. And the fact that she isn't here discussing it with all of us." I say in a sing-song voice.
Me, and the rest of the Super Squad- minus Hope- are currently sitting in Rics office.
From what I gathered, once Hope found Clarke and I in the motel room, she made sure we were okay, then she ran to find Landon. She found Landon outside in the parking lot... consuming Cleo. Ric ended up tracking us to the hotel, so he was there too.
Ric shot Landon with some sleeping darts and they ended up bringing him back to the school, where they locked him in a cage in the gymnasium, realising that Malivore took over Landons body.
Since Malivore/Landon consumed Cleo, we all forgot about her briefly. Well, except for Hope, who glady performed the dark magic spell that got us to remember her soon enough.
"This is MG's idea, not mine." Josie says, with her hand up in defence.
"It doesn't matter whose plan it was. If you didn't invite Hope, I can promise you that she is probably planning her own thing and is with Landon/Malivore right now. My bet, she's got a handy pair of weapons with her too." I say plainly.
"I put a barrier spell on the cage. Dad told me to. So if she wanted to hurt him, she can't get to him to do it in the first place." Lizzie explains to me.
"Oh, well, if that's the case, I guarantee she will be here in about..." I start to say, and the office doors slam open.
"Dr. Saltzman what the hell?" Hope says as she walks in.
"Now" I smile tightly towards Ric, and he just glares at me then looks towards Hope.
Hope slows her pace as she sees all of us sitting in the office.
"Well this is awkward. Nobody told me there was gonna be a Super Squad meeting this morning. Just like nobody told me about the barrier spell that was put up in the gym." Hope says, agitation slowly filling her words.
"That's because this is an emergency session about how we're gonna deal with Malivore." Ric explains.
"And how, you, fit into that plan" I add on gently.
"Then I'm all ears. Plan away." Hope says towards Ric and I.
"Not my plan" Ric says, then we all look towards MG to explain his plan to Hope.
"Cleo's the key to all of this. The problem being that Landon- Mali... Malivore..." MG says slowly, clearly unsure on the name to settle on. "Malidon?" MG says, looking towards us unsure.
"Get to the point, MG" I say.
"He's consumed her." He continues, "Which means, we have to assume that she's in the belly of the beast, in the pocket dimension inside of Mali... whatever." MG explains.
"Yeah, I've been there twice, so you can skip to the actual plan." Hope says, eager to get to the point.
"If we can find Cleo, she may be able to inspire us with a way to get her out." MG states.
"And what about Landon?" Hope says quickly.
"Took longer than I expected, but there it is. Does someone else want to tell her, or should I?" Lizzie sighs
I look towards everyone, and they are hesitant and avoiding Hopes eye contact. I sigh, before turning towards Hope.
"Cleo, is the target of this mission" I say slowly, preparing myself for what's to come.
"Though, we're obviously hoping she'll inspire a way to save Landon, too" Jo adds on once Hope doesn't immediately respond.
"Okay," Hope says calmly, which throws me off, but hey, I'm not complaining. "And how do we get inside Malivore, besides him eating us?" Hope asks.
