"I know we have been through a lot these last few days." Ric says.

"Yea, lets try months" I say quietly, but unfortunately I wasn't quiet enough, because everyone in the school who attended this emergency meeting turned my way. It was the weekend, so I was able to make this meeting since I didn't have school.

"Okay, it's been a rough couple of years, to be honest." Ric sighs, and brings the attention back to him.

It's been a few days since Hope deep dived into Josie's mind, and she hasn't woken since... neither has Landon.

"While I can't say the worst is past us, I firmly believe that if we stay united, as a school, a community-" Ric begins in his annoyingly optimistic way but is interrupted.

Someone clears their throat and when I look to see who it is, its Alyssa.

"Sorry, just for clarification," Alyssa stands so everyones eyes can face her, "does 'our community' include your daughter, who murdered me and held the entire school hostage to stage a grotesque display of black magic power?" She says arrogantly.

I look towards Josie's direction and see her looking down at her hands guiltily. After Lizzie got the dark magic out of Josie, she became herself again. However, after everything that happened she didn't want to use her magic, so she stored it in a coin, which is up for her grabs whenever she feels up to having that power again.

"Josie is back to normal, Alyssa. Clearly you are too cause your bitchy attitude has seemed to appear again." I smile tightly towards Alyssa, hoping that would have shut her up, however, she seems persistent.

"Josie is back to normal, because of Hope. Who I'm noticing isn't here at the ass crack of dawn like the rest of us." Alyssa looks towards Ric and sarcastically smiles, "So much for unity, I guess"

Her comment causes me to sit back down and let Ric do the talking. I can't think about Hopes fate right now. I mean, what if dark Josie got to Hope and she's gonna be a true Tribrid when she wakes up? She doesn't want to be a vampire yet, I know it. She's told me so many times about the hurt vampirism gave her aunts and uncles, hell, Ive heard about the hurt it brought my parents too. I wouldn't want that for her, or for anyone, for that matter.

"Hope. Im sure you all can understand, was hit hard by what happened to Landon, and she seems to be taking some time for herself." Ric says calmly.

We all agreed not to tell the school of Hopes condition. If the almighty Tribrid got put down by some dark magic, whose to say they wouldn't be eliminated in a second? It would create too much fear with the students.

"Speaking of, how is my boy Landon?" Wade stands up and asks. I've always had a soft spot for Wade, he gets too much hate at this school.

"Getting Landon back is my top priority, and I won't stop until I do. And that would go for any one of you" Ric firmly states.

"Okay, so what are we supposed to be doing now? I mean why are we all wearing gym clothes?" Kaleb joins.

"Something that you haven't been able to do in far too long... be kids. I want you to remember what it's like to not have to worry about something you shouldn't have to and grow closer in the process. Now before you ask my how," Ric smiles and looks towards MG, who is sitting in the front row.

MG eagerly stands up and faces the students and gets right to the point, "As president of the Student Activities Committee, I'd like to welcome you all to the first ever Salvatore School Field Day! The buses are waiting for you outside and don't forget to bring your smiles." MG says.

Everyone starts to stand up and clap and I just look around, agitated. He's making them do a field day, while Hope and Landon are both mysteriously not waking up?
