Chapter 21 | It Starts... Now

---Android Saga---

---Years Later---

"It was really nice of you're mom to watch Goten for us..." Goku comments to me as we flew with Gohan, and Piccolo to South City. "Yeah... You think Goten will behave?" I ask curious if she felt he would *Vegeta ended up failing to Get Pregnant Despite the Lemon* She nods. "I have no doubt that he'll be just fine whilst we're gone... Besides, you're mom seems to be really good with kids, I mean she raised you didn't she?" Goku makes a good point... I nod, and look ahead at our Son Gohan, who's grown up a good deal over the three years, he's shot up like a weed in height almost up to my lower chest now! "Slow down Gohan! We'll get there in plenty of time!" I shout up to him casually, he seemed all serious and nervous at the same time. "Yeah! You'd better save your energy for the fight!" Goku adds to the conversation in a rather cherry tone for someone about to go into a fight that in the future we're supposed to have already lost... "Oh! Right! Sorry!!!" Gohan calmly apologizes slowing down a little back to our pace. Piccolo flying along side I and Goku crosses his arms, and seems rather distraught about the upcoming fight. Finally speaks. "Three years, for three years we trained just for this moment." He begins, whilst I internally chuckle.

"Yeah! And Goku spent almost a full year of it training whilst pregnant with Goten..." I think to myself a little amused but reframe from showing said amusement. "But was it enough?" He asks not only us, but himself as well. It was more of a rhetorical question. "Why don't you let our actions speak for themselves! And let our fight today answer that for you! I have no doubt this afternoon, by it's end we'll have the answer to that question." I state. "Yes, I presume we will, but if only we'd had more time. I feel like there's so much more I could have done to prepare! I could have gotten faster, I could have gotten stronger!" He dwells over the fact, but I understand his sentiment. Goku glances over at him and speaks in a friend to friend caring tone of seriousness. "Don't say that! You did as much as you could Piccolo! We all did." Goku states, as I nod agreeing with her. "She's right... I don't think we could be anymore prepared then we all are now for this! So lets make sure to give this our all!" I cheer, in a confident and serious tone, with that, we all fly in silence for a few minutes. Gohan suddenly lets out a short laugh that reminds you of someone finding something, and points ahead, whilst looking over his shoulder at us. "Hey Mom! Dad! Look! I can see Krillin!" Gohan cheered, excited to see him. Looking ahead we spot him flying just a little ways ahead of us. Flying ahead and pacing Krillin Gohan greets him, to which Krillin does the very same. Goku, I, and Piccolo also catch up, and pace Krillin. "Hey Krillin!" Goku cheerfully greets him. "Hey Goku!" He greets back happily to see her again. "So buddy! You think your about ready to tackle a couple of androids today?" Goku asks optimistic in her tone, whilst Krillin looked ahead away from us and seemed nervous passively, and unsure of himself.

"Well, I suppose I'm about ready as I am now, as I'm ever gonna be." He begins, closing his eyes and sighing. "I just wish things didn't always have to be this way, I feel like every time one threat ends, another almost immediately follows!" Krillin states, and I comment on that. "Yeah! I'd have to say! It's starting to get old how often threats keep appearing on such high scales! Though... I guess I'm in no position to complain! One of the reasons amongst many for marrying Goku was to get out of my old boring life, and finally put my strength to good use!" I explain, whilst Piccolo chuckled at that comment. "Yeah, I'd say you got more then you bargained for huh?" He joked, as I chuckled as well. "Damn right I did! Between fighting you at the tournament! Fighting Raditz, dying, learning I could come back from the dead! Training on a planet in the other world! Wishing to become a saiyan! Fighting Vegeta and Nappa! Then Frieza and the Ginyu force in space on a off planet far from earth! Meeting a time traveler! Now this! I've gotten all the fun and high tense battles in my life that most people only read of in comics and animes! Let alone dream of!!! Gotta say I owe it to Goku for that! Really made my life so much less dull! I hope that it continues this way! Just... with longer breaks between fights to live life with her and our sons." I cheerfully explain, having no regret in it, as heard in my tone.
