Chapter 37 | Desperate Escape!

---Later That Same Day---

"So this neckless, and amulet was controlling her somehow you say?" King Kai states, just for recap, handing it back to me, with a new Crystal (Normal Crystal), so I could place it back on her. "Yeah, when her neckless came back and hit me in the chest, my mood went to enraged beyond comprehension for a split moment! I have no doubt she was being controlled somehow and in someway." I state walking to beside his home, where she was left sitting up against it, asleep still, I crouch down in front her and place the neckless back on her, and put the amulet back on. Placing my arms over my knees whilst remaining in front her, I observe how peaceful she seemed in her slumber. "I'm willing to wager she's a rather nice and friendly person... Beyond what we know of her so far." I state, he puts his arms behind is back, and begins walking away a few feet, before stopping, and continuing his observing of our side of the galaxy. "Well, for both our sakes, I hope your right." He states, whilst I stood up. "So... did she destroy any inhabited planets in our galaxy before I stopped her rampage?" I ask him, interested if I got there in time. "By the grace of the Kai's you stepped in just in time! She'd only managed to destroy a few uninhabited planets and a couple of moons. Thanks too you, not only was Yargrat saved, but likely all of our galaxy with it." He states, as I sigh in relief.

"*Fuuuw* Well, that comes as a relief." I state, walking to a stop beside him. He glances over at my wounds, and bruises, and chuckles at me. "Looks like she really did a number on ya." I snicker at the comment. "Yeah, she was insanely strong... To be honest, I wasn't sure if I could beat her their for a moment... It's incredible that someone this strong can exist... Having never achieved god energy... She may have been even stronger then Hit..." I admit, whilst staring out at snake way. A few minutes of silence went by before we spoke further on a new topic. "So... What do you plan to do with her? I hope you've got a plan laid out." He asks of me, I put a hand on my hip, and another under my chin with a thinking face. "Well, depend on how she acts without that mind control stuff going on, I plan on taking her back to earth, and giving her a place to live for a little while till she can settle into earth and find herself somewhere to live." I explain, he glances over at me. "And if she's still acts bad?" He asks, as I put both my hands on my hips and grin glancing over at him.

"If Vegeta can change... then I have faith even the most ruthless saiyan can change to good... It'll take time, but I'll be willing to take that time in order to get such an amazing sparring partner!" I admit, letting my inner saiyan cells show with that ending statement. Looking ahead at snake way again I continue. "I wonder who or why someone put that controlling device on her for... Any idea's King Kai?" I ask, he thinks in a hum for a little. "Beats me... But I can only speculate." He states, as I nod, feeling the same, behind us the sound of tired discomfort is heard from her, and I glance over my shoulder along with King Kai, seeing her tossing and turning up against the wall of the building, and seeming distressed in her sleep, having a pretty nasty nightmare at that. "F-Father... N-No... s-Stop!" She growled in pain under neath her breath. "Sounds like she might of had some daddy issues." King Kai comments, whilst I nodded. "Seems like it" I agree on the sentiment. I turn walking back towards her to wake her up from the nightmare. "F-Father... C-Come back..." She cried with tears dripping from her closed eyes, I crouch down in front her, and gently shake her awake with a look of genuine concern on my face. Eventually she stops tossing and turning, and parts open her eyes, at first not looking onto me, but eventually after coming to terms with the fact she was lost in a dream before, she puts sight onto me, and expresses a mix of relief, gratitude, and a soft look of casual nature. "You were having a pretty narly nightmare there... You alright?" I ask of her, she nods once gently in a shockingly gentle and soft voice compared to what she used last she spoke in her berserk state, she comes off genuinely beautiful with her voice when she spoke. "Sorry, I-I usually have those." I blush gently from the initial surprise by the drastic difference in voice from berserk to calm.
