Summary: It's one day until you leave for Inuzuma and the Fatui are running a mock under Scaramouche's order to prepare your voyage. It's also the same morning you are to wed without a proper ceremony

It was the morning after your proposal and now you sat within the northland bank main lobby fiddling with your engagement ring. Your fiancé on the other hand was barking orders at the lower ranks who were running back and fourth with crates, luggage, bags, boxes, and more. You assumed it was all for your trip to Inuzuma

"Hurry up you worthless pieces of shit!" Scaramouche snapped and when you looked at him he froze with his insults. With a raised finger his face softened for a moment as he gave a slight calm smile. His shoulders eased and when you smiled back his only grew more. His shoulders eased fully now and his eyes softened whenever he looked at you. You were his one and only weakness. When a crashing sound erupted his head snapped in the direction and once more his face grew sour as he turned to continue to bark orders at the Fatui running amongst the bank

"Do I need to do it myself? Archons, is it that fucking hard?!" Scaramouche snapped and strode off to yell more at his next more victim

You crossed your legs and stayed where Scaramouche ordered you to sit, he said it was because he would rather have you rest. After all you practically had the help of any Fatui member you wanted now

"So.... Are you nervous?" A calm voice asked above you, looking up there stood Ekaterina. She had a smile and sat down next to you "Considering you're getting married in like....mmmm ten minutes?"

You gave a shrug "Not really, I know I love Scaramouche so there's nothing to be nervous about. Besides this is just to get my papers ready for my entrance into Inuzuma. Our ceremony is where we will truly marry."

Nodding her head Ekaterina smiled more "Yeah yeah I remember from last night. Who would have known my little joke was actually gonna take place? You two really are getting married. AND IM GONNA BE IN IT!" She laughed and bumped her shoulder into yours playfully "Well and plan it. Per Lord Scaramouche's orders."

"Who would have known!" You laughed along side her and then your eyes narrowed "Wait a minute did you know before me?"

With a smirk Ekaterina nodded "Only a few moments before you though. Remember all those questions I asked you about marriage?"

It hit you like a brick, how could you have been so dense? So dumb? It all made sense now

"I knew then, I practically found out his plan to propose to you that day. And then lord Scaramouche forced me to hang out with you to ask all those questions," she laughed "Could you tell he was nervous?"

How cute. Scaramouche was that nervous to find out what you liked so he could try to arrange it before asking. That was oddly sweet of him

"You should have seen him asking! He was so cute and shak-"

"AHEM." A voice interrupted and you turned to see your fiancé standing above you and Ekaterina's sitting forms, arms crossed. Scaramouche scowled and raised a brow at Ekaterina who quickly stood up and apologized

"Forgive me my lord. There is much to be done!" She spoke and Scaramouche nodded before gesturing with his hand that she was dismissed

"Yes there is, now get to it you worthless-"

"Scaramouche!" You spoke in somewhat shock. Sure he was a asshole but you weren't gonna let him be that way with your friends

Scaramouche sighed and rolled his eyes "Get to it Ekaterina."
