Chaeyoung's POV
When I went out the Palace gate, I walked with confidence and composure. I'm quite tall with any man here in this era. I walked around while looking straight. I went to ask a guy at a store.
"Good day to you! This person is looking if anybody in here buys gold?" I asked and they bowed at me. Why are they bowing at me? Is it because of my beautiful face? Is it because of my robe?
"This lowlife, only know one person your Nobleman. I will guide you to him." He said in fear.
"Don't be frightened, I won't hurt such person. I came from a long journey and I want to trade my gold." I said and we continued to walk but I got alert when we're going on an uncrowded path.
"If you dare to steal from me, You wouldn't like what I can do to you." I said darkly. I saw different men, three exactly. They gather around me. No shit. I just want to buy edible food, now I'm in trouble. I saw one man have a dagger and I don't have anything except my fist and feet.
One man came to me and I blocked his punches. When I got a chance to hit him, I punch him with full force. He groaned as I hit him on his stomach. Another guy came to me and I immediately kicked him. I made sure to keep the gold safe. They shouldn't steal from a person they didn't know a blackbelter in Judo and Karate. I kicked their side and made sure the gold is still in my hands. I saw a man dropped down while the man in a dagger went on me. I kept avoiding his movement as he will slit my throat. I finally got his movement and kicked him hard on his crotch. Ooh! Now that's painful. I fixed my robe and I still hold the gold on my hands. They are all on the ground. I looked for a rope and I tied them all.
"Let this be a lesson. Don't ever steal from a Servant of the Queen." I said and covered their mouth. I stood up and went back to the where I came earlier. I stroll around and saw an old man struggling to carry his basket. I immediately went there and helped him.
"Let this man help you, Where should I carry this? Elder must not be working at this age. You should be resting at your home." I said and the old man smiled at me. He was shocked when he saw my robe.
"Forgive me My Lord, a nobleman like you shouldn't carry this. Let me handle this in my own My Lord." He said respectfully and tried to take the basket off of me but I didn't let him.
"Show me the way where I can put this. Don't fight with me. Shall we?" I asked and the old man didn't reject anymore and he showed me his stall. How lucky could I be? He's a cook! I put down the basket but first I have to change this gold to money.
"Excuse this man but may I know where I can exchange this two golds? I have to change them, can I know who could help me?" I asked politely and he immediately bowed again.
"This old man will point you at a man who give fair jeohwa exchange for your gold. That man infront of the that store is the one who changes the money here." He said and I went to that man.
"Excuse this man but may I know if you can change gold to jeohwa?" I asked and her looked at me. He suddenly bowed at me.
"This lowlife, does change gold to jeohwa or teongbo and jeongbo. I fairly exchange them My Lord." He said and I showed him my two button golds.
"Then exchnage this. What's the most highest exchange for this?" He was shocked by the gold I held. He took it and immediately examined it.
"It's real gold My Lord. I can exchange this two gold for two thousand jeohwa. Here My Lord. This large money should be kept well My Lord. A lot of thief are scattered around here." He said and gave me the money before that he out it on a pouch. I went back to the old man earlier. I smell his food again. I sat back and he asked what I should eat. I told him to give me his best food.
