CHAPTER TEN

Chaeyoung's POV 

I pulled her closer to me so she can hear how my heart reacts when she's near me. I hugged her and I touch her silky hair. 

"Can you hear how it beats Jennie? It's so loud and hard. I felt like it wants to get out of my body and went towards for it's rightful owner. I know and I'm sure about my feelings for you Jennie. I don't want to pursue this feelings but I just want you to know, as long as I'm here no one can harm you." I said with sincerity and I felt she move away from me. She gave me a cold look, again. She's hiding her expression so I won't never knew how she feels towards me. 

"You are not from here Chaeyoung. At anytime, you can leave me. You will leave this era whether you want it or not. I don't know when you will have to leave me. I must freed this feelings you had because I'm afraid it will cost me to stop you from going." She said coldly which makes me confuse. 

"I can't understand you Jennie. I'm confused. Do you want me to leave or stay? Just say it Jennie because I will do my best to fulfill what you want." I said and she slowly become soft. Her shivering eyes earlier was gone.

"I want you here beside me. I want you to fight alongside with me but I can't pursue your feelings for me Chaeyoung. You have to stop from getting more involved in my life. You wouldn't want to have feelings for a merciless and cruel Queen like me." She said sadly and move away from me. I was stoned on what she just said. How can she tell me to stop my feelings for her when I can't control it anymore? She got the nerve to say that she wants me to stay but she also want to stop what I'm not able to control. I just heard her footsteps slowly fading away which means she left my cabin. 

I prepared myself and wore a robe. I wore a hat which covers half of my head. I won't attend that meeting with Jennie. I can't face her as I'm too coward. I took the money I kept and went outside. I will go the place we first met but I have to buy something to drink and eat. 

I walk around and people kept looking at me. I must have something in my  robe. It's not like I'm a prince or something right? This cotton and comfortable robe was designed by Irene, when she sent us off she gave me a robe to show her gratitude of being her friend. I wore the ornament she gave me which makes the people look at me. Maybe it's because this was made by gold and emerald. I went closer to one of the man who looked at me. 

"What seem to be the problem?" I asked which makes him bow at me and politely said. 

"You must be an honorable person My Lord. It's an ornament made in Goguryeo Palace which was only given by the Crown Princess herself. You will be a respected person in Joseon Kingdom My Lord." He said and I nodded at him. I thanked him and bought a drink and food. I went to where I can buy a horse which I think will cost me a lot so I decided to ask for a horse on a Royal Guard. He immediately provided me a black and huge horse. Perfect for my size, I touched him and he seem comfortable by my touch. 

"This horse had never done such things My Lord. He seem to be on his own mind and wander around the Palace by himself. He is usually so hard to approach My Lord but he seem comfortable with you." He said politely. Should I gave him a name? Yeah I should. I want it to be similar pronunciation as Jennie and because this horse is a male. I should call him Jin-hee. Mighty and Fierce Stallion of Park Chaeyoung. I will also train this big boy when I began to train the 11 Royal Guards. I should also provide a name for them but I will think about it some other time. 

"Shall we Jin-hee? You must always remember where we are going. Did you understand?" I said which makes him neigh. I went on his back and yell to him. I guided Jin-hee towards the direction where I met Jennie. I will go back at the Palace after dinner. I want to enjoy being in an amazing and mesmerizing falls like this. It's like a home for a deity. I put down my things and I tied Jin-hee closer tree to me. I gave him some apples I've bought. I decided to swim and soak myself on a cold water. I'm alone here so I could stay butt naked as no one knew about this except Jennie. She won't have time to go here. I know any moment now, she began her meeting with those elders.
