"Now care to explain to me where you went yesterday at night, Choi Beomgyu?" Beomgyu stared at his lap, not daring to meet eyes with his father. He'd be punished badly if his father found out he snuck out to meet a criminal.

"I went out for some fresh air." Beomgyu mumbled quietly, his heart beating hard, too hard that he thought even the King could hear his heart beating. "You've never gone out for fresh air like that before, you know how dangerous it is to go outside like that, especially at night. What if someone were to recognize you, what would you do then, huh?"

Beomgyu had never heard his dad sound like this. Of course, he was mad, but it also seemed like his dad was worried. "I'm sorry father, I promise I won't leave the castle without your permission again." Beomgyu put his hand on to the table, paying no mind to it, until he felt a hand on top of his.

"I just want to keep you safe, Beomgyu. As my only son, you're all I have to rule after me." Beomgyu made eye-contact with his dad, nodding his head as to acknowledge what his dad said.

He was right, Beomgyu was the only son, and the person the King trusted the most to give up the throne to. It just made Beomgyu even more nervous, his father was depending on him, and yet he wasn't into the idea of ruling at all.

Beomgyu realized, he was technically also betraying his father, talking to Choi Yeonjun. His mother had told him to find love he wanted, but would she accept a criminal as his wanted lover?

It seemed like nothing was going to go well in the future for Beomgyu.

*~*~*

Yeonjun was wide awake, not getting a single hour of sleep in, all because of Beomgyu. He couldn't stop thinking about the fact that Beomgyu knew his true identity, and that they also held hands all in the same day.

Beomgyu had reacted to the news way differently then Yeonjun had thought. It didn't seem like he had any hard feelings after the conversation ended either. He was just Beomgyu, how he always was.

Cheerful, bright, and someone Yeonjun liked. The future couldn't be told by anyone, but Yeonjun knew, he just wanted to be with Beomgyu. Beomgyu was all that he wanted in this messed-up life that he lived.

"Yo, Yeonjun, you good?" Of course, Wooyoung had to "ruin" the mood, what Yeonjun preferred to say. "Yeah, yeah, it would have been better if you didn't ask." Yeonjun mumbled the last part, but considering how Wooyoung reacted, he heard it anyways.

"Yah, is this how you treat your best friend! I even brought someone with me today, because I knew you missed him a lot." Yeonjun looked up at Wooyoung, what was he talking about? "Who did you bring?"

"Yah, Yeonjun stop being so mean to Wooyoung, you know he's faint-hearted." Climbing down the ladder, Yeonjun thought he saw someone he'd never meet again. "Changbin? Oh my-" Yeonjun immediately stood up from the sofa, and gave Changbin a big hug as soon as he finished climbing down the ladder.

Changbin laughed, as he felt Yeonjun tighten his grip on his back. To put it simply, it had been a while since Yeonjun had seen Changbin, because Changbin wasn't like him. Changbin wasn't a well-known criminal, that robbed stores as a hobby.

Changbin was a normal guy, studying to become a lawyer. In high school, Changbin, Wooyoung, and Yeonjun had all been best friends. When everything fell down on Yeonjun, Changbin was there to help him up.

The reason why they had not seen each other in so long was because, after Changbin had found out all the crimes both Yeonjun, and Wooyoung commited, he immediately cut contact with the both of them. But now, here he was, coming to see both of them again.

"Changbin contacted me first you know, he missed us." "Of course I did, although I still don't support your careers." Changin finally broke the hug, giving Yeonjun a pat on his back. "I know, don't worry. We're not that bad of criminals, right, Yeonjun?" Wooyoung poked Yeonjun with his elbow to agree with him, but instead of agreeing, Yeonjun hit Wooyoung on his arm.

"I don't understand you sometime-" Wooyoung made eye contact with Yeonjun, and Yeonjun was glaring at him, with a not-amused face. "-okay, okay, I meant...please come have a seat Changbin, don't mind him!"

*~*~*

"Ryujin, Yuna!" Beomgyu entered the palace, immediately met by two familiar faces. "Hi Beomgyu, let's go upstairs?" Beomgyu nodded, a big smile on his face. Beomgyu had come to the Shin family's palace today to discuss decorations for him and Ryujin's wedding. Luckily, his father was busy with something else so Beomgyu came by himself with guards.

Since it was the King's idea in the first place, saying he thought having some time together could help the awkwardness between the two, he had no problem with letting Beomgyu go by himself. Now, Beomgyu could talk with Ryujin and Yuna, without having to worry about his dad waiting for him so they could leave.

"So, anything new happen Beomgyu?" Beomgyu sat crisscrossed on the floor, making a thinking face. "Hmmm, well I met someone recently!" "Who's the someone?" Yuna replied to Beomgyu, having a teasing smile on her face.

"The person I like- I mean, uh- a friend." It came out too fast for Beomgyu to even process what he had said himself. He had told himself multiple times he didn't like Yeonjun, he couldn't like Yeonjun. Yet here he was, falling deeper and deeper in love.

"What do you like about him then, Beomgyu? Since you're doubting yourself." Beomgyu looked down, there was so much he wanted to say, he could say. "I like the way he says my name." Too shy to look up, Beomgyu played with his hands in his lap.

"And?" "And the way I feel the happiest when he's looking at me." Ryujin smiled, watching Beomgyu say things from his heart. She could tell Beomgyu really liked this person. "Anything else?" "I see forever in his eyes."

"Wow, Beomgyu, you really are in love with this GUY." Yuna decided to speak, after listening to her sister's interrogation on Beomgyu. She didn't miss the "he" though, it was clear Beomgyu liked a guy. "Oh my god, did I say "he"!" "Yes, yes you did, Beomgyu."

Beomgyu immediately covered up his face, too embarrassed to take his hands off. "Aww, don't worry Beomgyu. I'm sure you guys would be a very cute couple, whoever he is." Ryujin patted Beomgyu's shoulder, trying to comfort him.

"Now, shall we talk about our wedding decorations? The reason why you're actually here?"
