It was Beomgyu's second day in the village already. As he expected, news of him missing had already been spread throughout the village. It seemed like wherever he walked, people were talking about him and where he could be. Too bad they didn't realize he was right in front of them.

Sleeping on a park bench was not fun, and Beomgyu had never experienced such bad back pain in his life. When he woke up, it was around 7:00 AM, which was good since he'd be able to spend most of the day trying to find Yeonjun. Except, it seemed like just one day wouldn't help him find Yeonjun.

Now, it was 4:00 PM, and although Beomgyu did get to explore and see new places, he still hadn't found Yeonjun. His legs were starting to give up on him, and the only thing he had ate were the apples he bought from the lady when he first came to the village. Being hungry, and tired, were two things Beomgyu had never experienced before. Growing up in a Castle, as the prince, he had all the food he could ever want. Whenever he felt tired, his Mom would urge him to go get some rest, even if he was in the middle of something important.

Thinking about his Mom made Beomgyu teary-eyed, but he left her for himself. He decided that he wouldn't be crying over someone he chose to leave. Finding the nearest bench, Beomgyu took a seat and decided he would take a break. Maybe if it wasn't too risky, he would go buy something from a convenience store to eat. Although he had quite a bit of money, he had to be careful with how much he used. Before he knew it, it would be all done before he could find Yeonjun. He wasn't going to starve, no matter what.

"Excuse me, I saw you from far away and thought you were cute. Can I get your number?" Who knew slouching on a bench was considered attractive. Beomgyu, although shocked, was flattered that a girl thought he was cute. This was the most interaction he had had with a girl since the last time he met Ryujin and Yuna.

"Sorry, I don't have a phone." The girl looked so confused, but Beomgyu was really just being honest. "Oh, uhm, it's okay. Well, I'll be leaving now...bye." Were phones that important nowadays?

'Ugh, I'm too hungry. I need to eat something.' Getting up from the bench, Beomgyu started walking a different direction than he came. He would eventually find a convenience store anyways, it wouldn't really matter.

"GS25." Beomgyu said out loud. From the outside, it looked like a store where he could buy food. As he strolled through all the different sections of things, he was amazed by how many different foods there were. Bread, Ramen, and even Milk just waiting to be bought. The more he looked, the more his stomach grumbled.

Beomgyu got one of everything he wanted. He wanted to make sure he had enough for tomorrow too, so he wouldn't have to come again. As he was picking out what drink to take, he heard a loud commotion coming from the main entrance. It sounded like someone had broken glass? There were people screaming from inside too.

Too curious not to check, Beomgyu hid behind a shelf near the main entrance and sneaked a look. It looked like two guys with masks on were threatening customers as they started checking the register for money.

One of them looked just too familiar for Beomgyu to pass by. Although Beomgyu was scared, he tried stealing another glance of the guy threatening customers with a gun. His apprentice was too busy raiding the cash register to notice anything anyways. Fate was not on Beomgyu's side though, because he accidentally tripped on someone's bag that had been on the floor.

Immediately the guy looked straight at him, and Beomgyu knew he had either two choices. Stay, and let the guy do something to him, or run. He decided he would do the latter. Not wasting any second, Beomgyu tried running past the thief to the main door.

The door had been smashed by the thieves, probably as a way to distract everyone inside. So when Beomgyu touched the door handle, he accidentally sliced his hand on a piece of glass that was barely holding up now. Hissing in pain, Beomgyu didn't even notice that the thief was already holding onto him now.

"Since you tried running away, and you probably would have ran to tell the police...I'll keep you with me for a bit." Patting Beomgyu's shoulder, the guy held on to Beomgyu's arm and waited for his buddy to finish with the cash register. "Got the money?" "Yeah, let's go- you taking that boy with you?" "I just thought I would talk to him, since he wanted to run away." "Suit yourself."

Beomgyu was now really scared. He ran away from home, and now he was being kidnapped by two guys who just broke into a convenience store? They had been walking for quite a while now. Finally, the guy who had caught him, led him into an alleyway that was deserted and dark.

"I promise I won't tell the police, just- just please, let me go!" Beomgyu watched as the guy smirked in front of him. "I know it's you, Beomgyu." Beomgyu flinched, what did he mean he knew it was him? Oh no, oh no, oh no, Beomgyu could NOT get caught this early on!

"N-no, you're wrong! I'm not Beomgyu, I don't know what you're talking about!" "Beomgyu, it's me, Yeonjun. Aw, you don't even recognize your own lover?" Pouting his lips, Yeonjun smiled at Beomgyu. "Yeonjun?" "Yes, baby. Your one and only Yeonjun." Yeonjun put his hands on Beomgyu's jaw, as he drew closer to Beomgyu.

"Why are you here in the village, Beomgyu? You should hurry back to the castle if you don't want to get caught!" Beomgyu looked down at that sentence, and Yeonjun sensed something was wrong. "I-" "Actually, it's getting late anyways. You can explain everything once we get back to my place. I think I already know most of the story."

"Thank you for understanding, Yeonjun." "I knew it was you from the start." "Huh?" "I knew it was you at the convenience store from the start. The way you moved gave it away. Even if your face was covered, I will always know who you are from miles away, Beomgyu."

Beomgyu smiled at Yeonjun, kissing his cheek. "Ayee, come on. If you're going to kiss me at least do something more...like this." Yeonjun slowly leaned in, holding onto Beomgyu's chin as he kissed Beomgyu more passionately.

Yeonjun tried taking Beomgyu's hand to pin on the wall, but he heard Beomgyu slightly whine in pain. He immediately pulled away from the kiss. "Ow! I cut my hand on the glass at the convenience store...sorry." "No need to say sorry, let's go home quickly so I can treat your wound."

Beomgyu was happy he had finally found Yeonjun...even though it wasn't in the way he imagined it to be.
